Last month Look Incredible launched their first ever deluxe subscription box and just like their standard box it’s already proved to be a hit with subscribers. Featuring an amazing array of products from brands we all love and know I was really keen and excited to see what the *April box had in store and I’m pleased to report it’s just as loveable although for me there’s only a couple of products that really stand out this month.

The first item from this month’s line up is the Balm Voyager II Palette (RRP £37.50) and I think you’ll agree it’s definitely steals the limelight and is one of the main highlights inside this month’s box. This beautifully packaged all rounder make-up palette includes nine eye-shadows, a highlighter, a bronzer, two blushes and two lip and cheek stains. I’ve tried quite a few products from thebalm and the amazing pigmentation and quality has definitely been passed down to this palette too. It’s such a lovely addition this month and makes a great companion when traveling. If you’ve been wanting to try out any of thebalm products then this is definitely the best place to start.

With brows now being the focal point when it comes to make up I’ve had a really good opportunity to experiment with different textures thanks to beauty boxes so I was delighted to see the Benefit Gimme Brow (Full size RRP £18.50) in the shade medium/deep. With this gel it isn’t just about the colour, it’s about the texture, too. It contains tiny fibres that stick to your brow hairs and skin to create the illusion of more hair so you can basically build up brows without the heaviness of a pencil or powder. It’s also waterproof, so you don’t have to worry about your brows disappearing away over the course of the day.

On the skincare front there’s the Multi-Wrinkle Repair Serum by BareMinerals (Full Size RRP £39.00), that promises to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with a targeted skin-plumping concentrate. The miraculous formula melts into skin to reveal smoother, unbelievably softer, younger-looking skin with improved texture. Powered by a combination of our proprietary ActiveSoil^TM Complex and revitalising peptides, this intensive concentrate renews skin, hydrates and helps defend against environmental stressors.

Last but not least is the Estee Lauder Lip Conditioner (Full Size RRP £16.00), a soothing moisture treat for your lips. The lip-caring formula hydrates, smooths and comforts lips with ingredients such as Vitamins C and E, Shea Butter and other naturally derived moisturisers. You can apply it under lipstick as a moisturising base coat or wear it overnight as an intensive moisture treatment.

My Verdict

Look Incredible have again delivered exactly what I would expect from a premium beauty box and as for the value it’s definitely worth the £35.00 price tag. For me personally there’s only a couple of items that really sparked my interest this month but having said that everything’s full sized and showcases brands we all love and know so all in all it’s definitely a box I’d recommend trying at least once! From the feedback I’ve received this month it appears that they’ve had a few issues so I hope these have been put to bed for the May edition!
