Showcasing well-known brands plus some newbies the box it’s worth over £50.00 and includes 7 generous sample sized essentials as well as the July Elle Magazine and combine all that together it’s another great value for money edition and in comparison to previous months it’s definitely a more exciting unboxing that covers a good area of beauty.
The Look Fantastic box offers a selection of handpicked, must have beauty fixes wrapped in a beautifully presented box and delivered straight to your door. The beauty box will always include a minimum of six products and offers a selection of skincare, haircare, cosmetic and body products, catering for every beauty lover.
This month’s box is filled with a generous mix of treats and showcases the brands Caudalie, Korres, Naobay, Cowshed, Mr Blanc, Dead Sea Spa Magik and Tan Organic.
1. Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream – Sample Size 10ml.
A combination of late nights and poor sleep habits is inevitable when traveling so the addition of this eye cream by Caudalie is a great travel must-have and has very quickly become a favourite of mine.
The Premier Cru Eye Cream is ever so luxurious and leaves the skin feeling hydrated with the perfect texture… it’s not too heavy or too light. It literally melts into the skin and comes with a beautiful scent of rose and oak. The eye cream also works wonders as an eye primer and has a matte finish with a little bit of a pearlescent glow to it that brightens up the eye area right away. I absolutely love what I’ve tried so far from Caudalie and the same high quality has definitely been passed down to this eye cream.
2. Naobay Oxygenating Cream Moisturiser – Travel Size 22ml.
Described as a unique composition rich in organic nutrients, with intensive hydrating action that deeply nourishes the skin, while improving elasticity and providing intense moisture throughout the day the Naobay Oxygenating Cream Moisturiser is a super-rich cream with essential fatty acids found in oils from organic farming such as Avocado and Olive oils, which also gives the cream anti-aging benefits. Specially designed for dry and dehydrated skin that needs extra attention.
This isn’t something that my oily skin would like but dry skins will definitely appreciate this. It’s a shame that Look Fantastic didn’t opt for a moisturiser with SPF instead in keeping with their Jet Setter theme as this definitely seems more suited for the winter months.
3. Korres Shower Gel – Travel Size 40ml
I love receiving shower gels inside my beauty boxes as they’re a practical and everyday essential that almost everyone will make use out of so it’s a very welcomed addition.
I’ve tried quite a few products from Korres and one thing for sure their shower gels and body lotions smell absolutely amazing and their Basil Lemon Shower Gel is no exception.
With a zingy and refreshing fragrance this is literally bursting with sunshine and is ideal for waking you up in the morning.
4. Mr Blanc Teeth Whitening Strips – x3 strips
These peroxide-free whitening strips promise to reveal a pearly white smile and are layered with a tooth whitening gel to remove deeply embedded stains beneath the surface of the enamel in a safe and effective way without leaving any sensitivity.
5. Cowshed Moisturising Hand Cream – Full Size 50ml RRP £8.00
If you’re a regular reader you’ll already know that I love my hand creams so I welcome the Cow Pat Hand Cream by Cowshed to my ever growing collection!
I love how moisturising this hand cream is, and how soft and smooth my hands feel after using it although it does feel a little oily at first but this soon disappears once it absorbs into the skin. The scent is very fresh and clean, something which I really love.
6. Dead Sea Spa Magik Beauty Balm BB Cream – Travel Size 15ml
This award winning deeply moisturising cream with a light coverage helps to even out skintone and hide imperfections. Packed with skin loving minerals, and Vitamin C to help produce collagen and Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that repairs and protects and includes SPF 15.
During the warmer months I swap out my heavy duty foundation for a BB cream instead and the do-it-all formula not only eliminates the need for multiple products but it’s a great staple for the make up bag and the best bit it feels like you have nothing on your skin! I can’t wait to give this one go and if the reviews are anything to go by I think it’s definitely going to be a winner.
7. Tan Organic Tanning Oil – Sample Size 25ml
Tan Organic is one of my favourite brands when it comes to tanning so I’m happy to have a sample of this on standby.
This self tanning oil by TanOrganic is the world’s first self-tanning oil and is essentially a moisturising dry oil that gives an elegant subtle tan. With its moisturising qualities it instantly illuminates the skin with an irresistible glow and contains no synthetic colours, preservatives or parabens making it much kinder for your skin. In comparison to other tanning products which smell unpleasant this oil has a refreshing and uplifting citrus scent, something that I really love.
If you want to achieve a healthy, natural glow then this dry oil is a great choice as it’s foolproof, moisturises the skin and the application is much easier in comparison to creams and mousses.
My Verdict
Look Fantastic have definitely redeemed themselves after a slightly disappointing edit last month but I love the line up they’ve showcased for their Jet Setter box. Sticking to the theme they’ve covered a good area of beauty and with everything being in a miniature size they’ll definitely save precious space inside our suitcases (hello, extra pair of shoes!) There’s a couple of brand repeats again but the newbies on board definitely made the unboxing more exciting plus there’s quite a few everyday essentials so whether you’re home or away I think almost everyone will find some useful bits inside this months box.
The Look Fantastic Beauty Box without a doubt gives you ample opportunity to try more upmarket beauty brands without the hefty price tag and for only £15.00 it’s a great way to trial beauty products from brands we all love and know alongside some new discoveries too.
