Month on month Look Incredible never fails to impress me with their fabulous and value for money curations but this month they’ve definitely pulled out all the stops for their July edition. Covering a good area of beauty they’ve featured on-trend make up, hydrating skincare as well as a skincare rescuer in the form of an aftersun. I’m really impressed with the contents this month and I absolutely love the brands they’ve featured plus everything seems geared towards the season too so I think there really is something for everyone to enjoy and make use out of. Inside there’s 5 full sized items something you can always expect to see and it’s another value for money edition which totals an incredible £112.00
On the skincare front you can expect to see the Bioderma Hydrabio Riche moisturising cream (Full Size 4oml RRP £14.50), a treatment that retrains the skin to moisturise itself and protects against every day, pollution, stress and cold weather. Developed in the BIODERMA Research laboratories, the Aquagenium biological patent found in Hydrabio Légère. I was really excited to see Bioderma on board but unfortunately the formula is way too rich for my oily skin (sad face).
Now that summer is in full swing it’s easy to get distracted while having fun in the sun which in turn means forgetting to apply sunscreen so the Ultrasun Aftersun (Full Size 150ml RRP £19.00) is such a handy addition whether you’re home or away. The cooling gel-lotion moisturises and soothes irritated skin after exposure to the sun with a long lasting and non greasy finish. It also contains the active ingredient Aquarich which aids moisturisation for up to 24 hours.
The Dew the Hoola liquid bronzer (Full Size RRP £22.50) is a fairly new launch from Benefit so I was really surprised and delighted to see this inside the box! If you’re a fan of the Benefit Hoola Powder Bronzer this is their liquid version which provides a smooth, lightweight and not too shimmery finish and gives the skin a natural glowy look and it’s bottled up inside a beautiful gold exterior.
Moving onto the make-up front there’s a MAC matte Lipstick in Viva Glam in collaboration with Miley Cyrus (Full Size RRP £15.50), a fiery orange shade that’s housed in the classic MAC lipstick case with red accents and Miley’s signature embossed on the inner tube. The formula is pigmented, rich and the wear is pretty good but it’s a little too bright for me but nonetheless I think it’s such an apt shade and would definitely pair well with a tan!
Last but not least is the Giorgio Armani Blushing Fabric (Full Size RRP £29.99) in the colour 2 which looks like a really scary red from the packaging but once blended out it transforms into a soft natural flush. The formula is so dreamy and feels ever so lightweight on the skin making it the perfect choice for the warmer weather.
My Verdict
Look Incredible never fail to impress me and their July edition is no exception and just screams all things summer and showcases a wealth of quality brands making it such a true treat. In terms of the contents everything’s geared towards the warmer weather and there’s some really useful additions as well some make up treats making the balance just right which in turn means you’re probably more likely to find a few favourites inside the box although having said that the make up shades and the moisturiser may be hit and miss for some. The Giorgio Armani blush really surprised me the most and it just proves that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, it’s definitely got me interested in exploring more of their shades. With five full sized items and curations that rarely disappoint it’s definitely worth the £35.00 price tag especially if you gravitate more towards make-up.
