There’s nothing quite like new make up and skincare treats to lift your spirits and Love Me Beauty have knocked it out of the park this month with an all-star collective that you definitely won’t want to miss. Showcasing deluxe make up samples from Kat Von D (eeeek!) and pampering skincare products from Aromatherapy Associates and Omorovicza they’ve partnered with a wealth of quality brands. This post rounds up just some of the lovely new additions which you can expect to see inside the boutique. 1. Kat Von D – (Deluxe samples. 20 credits each)

I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s pretty amazing that Love Me Beauty have partnered with Kat Von D for their September edit especially when it’s a brand that’s only just launched at Debenhams. While these are in fact samples they are indeed very generous in size and are the perfect size to judge whether you like them or not before splurging on the full size – the beauty of beauty boxes!

First up we have the Kat Von D Beauty Matte Lip product (3ml) in the shade Outlaw, a vibrant party-proof red that’s bound to draw attention! The creamy formula applies like a dream and transforms into a matte finish and also boasts 24-hour wear and high-pigment colour. It’s also infused with natural moisturisers, including Vitamin E and Sunflower Seed Wax. The bold red shade looks absolutely stunning but it’s a little too daring for daywear but a good choice for the evenings.

If red is out if your comfort zone and you’re looking for something more neutral then the Kat Von D Beauty Studded kiss in magick (1.2g) is a great choice. This long-wear, pigment-rich lipstick is formulated with Color Cushion Technology to keep your pout feeling comfy and velvety soft.

While there are definitely a lot of great options on the market, up until this point I didn’t think anything could truly top my K-Beauty liner ,that was until I tried the Ink Liner by Kat Von D! What makes this eyeliner so hype worthy? Basically, for me there are two big factors – formula and application. Formula wise you get a deep, black line that dries down to be totally smudge proof, is water resistant, and holds up well all day long without any flaking or fading. Unlike a lot of pen style eyeliners with felt nibs, this one strikes the perfect balance of flexibility and precision.

2. Omorovicza ( Sample size. 15 Credits each)

Omorovicza is a luxurious high-end skincare brand that hails all the way from Budapest, Hungary and the magic is all in the key ingredient in the form of Hungarian Moor Mud.

First up is Omorovicza‘s legendary Thermal Cleansing Balm (sample size 5ml), an award-winning balm that cleanses without stripping, removes all impurities and make-up including waterproof mascara, to leave the skin soft and hydrated. It contains Calcium- and Magnesium-rich Hungarian Moor mud detoxifies and purifies, while sweet almond oil nourishes skin to leave it soft and silky. I tried this balm a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it so I’m really pleased to have another sample.

The Deep Cleansing Mask (sample size 5ml) is something I’m really excited to try out. The mask is rich in calcium and magnesium and helps to clean out any congested pores and promises to brighten the skin as it draws out any impurities. It also features Hungarian Moor mud which is rich in nutrients and minerals and helps with circulation and blood flow in the skin. The mud is also known as a natural exfoliant.

3. Aromatherapy Associates – ( Travel Size 10 credits)

What better way to enhance those winter night than with a skin care line that pampers & conditions your skin with a heavenly aroma that transports you to a spa. Say hello to Aromatherapy Associates, a brand that focuses on Mindful Beauty by giving you time to stop and find balance in your life by taking you on a sensory journey to enhance your wellbeing through Aromatherapy.

The Rose Skin Tonic (travel size 30ml) is described as a wonderfully refreshing and cooling skin tonic. This pure damask rose water is distilled from the delicate petals of thousands of fragrant Bulgarian roses. Its mild astringent quality tones the skin after cleansing, leaving your skin feeling fresh and hydrated.

Partnering up with the Skin Tonic is the Renewing Rose Cleanser (travel size 30ml), a gentle and effective cleanser to wipe away impurities and make-up for clean, glowing skin. The formula contains Jojoba to cleanse whilst precious damask rose works to keep skin radiant and healthy-looking, and essential oil of geranium helps balance the skin’s natural oils.

My Verdict

Wow, what a true treat this month’s Love Me Beauty Boutique is! I’d say that this month’s Sundown edit was pretty solid and is quite possibly my favourite collection so far with quite a few highlights that I’m delighted to welcome to my beauty arsenal. There’s no full sized products this month but all the samples are very generous in size and adequate enough for you to judge whether you like them or not so it’s a great way to try out a brand/product you’ve been curious about without breaking the bank. Love Me Beauty continuously wow me with the brands they’ve been partnering with especially of late and this month features such an all star line up, it’s definitely going to be a tough edit to beat! I think you’ll agree Kat Von D definitely stole the limelight this month and after months of reading about her products via US beauty bloggers I’m pleased that I’ve now experienced some of the collection first hand all thanks to Love Me Beauty!
