After a successful April line-up from Little Bit Lavish, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on their June Garden Party themed edit and I think you’ll agree Becky has done an outstanding job once again for this curation and is quite possibly my favourite edit so far. Covering a good area of beauty and sticking to the theme throughout, this month’s line up is such a good all-rounder and also includes a bracelet from Lisa Angel which is just so pretty!

If you’re new to Little Bit Lavish their entire focus is pampering with carefully chosen products for you to enjoy as their belief is that all women deserve some time for themselves. Their bi-monthly box of goodies will have a different theme each time and features both travel size and full size products and will contain between 5-7 carefully selected pampering treats from beauty, skincare and the odd makeup item plus a lifestyle item and something edible or drinkable. The brands you can expect to see will be a mixture of established companies to cottage industries with the intention of mainly focusing on organic or natural and cruelty free products.

Without further ado here’s a first look at their June edition:

Kicking off the garden party theme and to get our feet summer-ready we have a very generous addition retailing £29.00 from Seacret in the form of their Foot Cream (Full size 150ml). This rich foot cream is described as a velvety blend of moisturising shea and cocoa butters, known for their skin-soothing and nourishing properties and is also infused with antibacterial tea tree oil to leave the skin feeling pure and refreshed.

Up next is the Neek Lipstick (RRP £15.00) in the shade Sunsets, an Australian cruelty-free brand that’s completely new on my radar and only use kind to you ingredients which are natural and vegan. Their lipstick certainly looks the part for this month’s theme with its wooden casing and the shade is a lovely pinky coral that’s very wearable for this time of the year. Infused with a mix of natural pigments and micas to create colour and texture, this vegan lippie is built on a base of nourishing jojoba oil, avocado oil and shea butter.

I love bath bombs and the heavenly scent of Jasmine so I was delighted to find this Fizz Bath Bomb (RRP £3.95) designed in the form of a flower from Little Heart Gifts, a company formed by Lindsey who makes all of her own products.

Another completely new discovery for me is the Organic Glam Nail polish (RRP £11.50) in the shade Sherbet Lemon, a beautiful laid back peach that will take you from day to night effortlessly. This fast-drying formula promises a high gloss, flawless and professional finish without compromise and is free from DBP, toluene, formaldehyde, and camphor.

Moving onto the lifestyle items we have a gorgeous Rose Gold Boho Bracelet from Lisa Angel (RRP £18.00) and the prettiest Lollipop (RRP £1.80) I’ve ever laid eyes on from The Little Lollipop Shop which contains edible flowers and tastes like candy floss according to the description!

My Verdict

I thought this month’s Little Bit Lavish edition featured such a great selection of beauty and lifestyle treats for this time of the year and as always Becky absolutely nailed the theme, something that she’s really mastered. There were several winners in this month’s box so I’m really struggling to pick a favourite but the absolute standouts for me so far are the foot cream, the lipstick and of course the ever so beautiful lollipop which I refuse to unwrap let alone eat but I’m looking forward to trying out the nail varnish and showing off the Lisa Angel bracelet!  All in all, this month’s theme brought together a very versatile and universal appealing line-up and it was also lovely to discover a host of new brands which is of course what beauty boxes are all about plus every single item is full sized so it’s excellent value for money too. I’d say the June edition was definitely a firm favourite of mine.
