When I say I have a lot of beauty products to get through I’m not even exaggerating and it’s getting a tad bit out of control if I’m honest! Having said that though I make a point of stalking Latest in Beauty every day to see their new product of the day and last month the temptation just got the better of me – to be fair it has been a while since my last box which makes it totally acceptable right! Stocking up on mainly long standing favourites in addition to some new finds it’s the perfect way to fuel your love for all things beauty plus you’ll never be disappointed as you know exactly what to expect inside your box! In addition to this I’m pleased to report from the vast selection online you’ll find both full sized products and generous travel sized samples from a host of well-known and up and coming brands, and with subscriptions starting from only £9.00 per month you really can’t go wrong.
From the three subscription packages available I opted for the Beauty Enthusiast (£15 per month plus free P&P) which allows me to pick 6 products.
Here’s what I chose inside my box:
1. Refinery Shave Foam Gel – Full size 125ml RRP £18.00
When it comes to shaving, I much prefer using products from the men’s ailse as it’s usually much more effective in comparison to what’s on the market for us women (I steal my husband’s Gilette Mac3 blades and his shaving gel (hope he’s not reading this!) so with in mind I decided to get my very own shaving foam! This rich foaming shave gel helps to protect against razor burn and nicks for a close, comfortable shave. Contains clove and peppermint for a spicy, minty effect as well as fresh aloe vera, which adds moisturising and soothing properties
2. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti Chip Top Coat– Full Size RRP £5.99
If I have a spare 10 mins during the week then you’ll catch me painting my nails! I’ve tried a bunch of speed dry top coats but this one by Sally Hansen wins hands down and definitely comes out on top compared to some of its more popular rivals plus it’s a hell of a lot more cheaper! If you have wet nails and no time to spare then the Insta-Dri promises to deliver long-lasting shine, a chip resistance formula and a great manicure that dries fast and lasts. It contains an exclusive acrylic polymer complex that dries any nail colour in 30 second and the nail colour also stays true thanks to UV filters, which prevent fading, yellowing & discoloration caused by sunlight.
3. Smith & Cult Nail Lacquer Above It All Top Coat – Full Size 14ml rrp £18.00
Described as the ultimate, high-shine top coat, this formula by Smith & Cult seals your nail colour with a mirror-like, vinyl finish that resists chips and extends the lifespan of your manicure. I love their nail varnishes and the unique design of their bottles so it was kind of a no brainer to add this to my box!
4. Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask – Sample size 5ml
I’ve been on the hunt for a new face mask as my beloved Glamglow is nearing the end so I thought I’d try out this one by Omorovicza as it’s got glowing reviews.Much more than a deep-cleansing facial treatment, this calcium and magnesium-rich mask clears congested pores, brightens tone as it draws out impurities and the addition of Moor mud purifies the skin without leaving it taut.
5. Rituals Under a Fig Tree Diffuser – Travel Size RRP £14.50
I’ve added this diffuser countless times inside my Latest in Beauty boxes and it’s made a comeback again because it’s just so lovely and makes my bathroom smell so good with the sweet and warming aroma of fresh figs and the refreshing undertone of copaiba. This travel sized version lasts around 4-5 weeks.
6. Evolve Organic Beauty Citrus Blend Aromatic Wash – Travel Size 60ml £4.00
To wake up the mind, body and soul is the the Evolve Organic Beauty Citrus Blend Aromatic Wash is a refreshing hand and body wash to soothe and moisturise the skin, the formula contains an uplifting infusion of Juniper Berry, Lime, Lemon and Basil and also has the added benefit of Natural Coconut and sugar extracts to gently cleanse and maintain the skin’s natural pH balance. The addition of Organic Aloe Vera nourishes the skin and also calms irritation.
