The Memebox Special Hand and Nail care is a curated box which contains of all the products you could possibly need to refine those neglected nails and hands and with the colder weather stream making an appearance this comes at the perfect time. Whether it be daily moisturisation or simply some indulgent pampering time, this box contains a good mix of products which will leave your hands and nails in perfect condition.

Memebox is a rapidly-growing, leading e-commerce beauty retailer born in Seoul, currently headquartered in San Francisco, California and provide Korean Beauty Boxes.

They offer a huge range of different themed beauty boxes which caters for everyone’s needs and likes and the good news is they ship to the UK and other parts of the world for only $6.99. These are not monthly subscription boxes and are available to buy as one off’s. They sell out very quickly so you do need to be supersonic. The contents within these boxes are a complete surprise and only one item spoiler gets released prior to shipping which is an aspect I like about Memebox.

This box includes 7 full sized products and focuses on hand and nail care products.

1. Barbinie Shea Butter Hand Cream – Full Size 50ml RRP £10.97

The Barbinie Hand cream comes presented  in a pretty floral designed packaging and from the  3 scents which were available I received the White Lilly edition.

The cream itself is lightly scented with a floral fragrance and is enriched with shea butter and aloe vera to deliver deep nourishment helping to maintain soft supple hands.

The formula is quite thick and absorbs into the skin pretty well leaving no greasy residue. The quality of this hand cream is very good and despite having a rotten cold whilst I write this post I can still smell the floral notes.

2. Pure Skin Hand Care Pack – Full Size 15g RRP £2.43

This hand care pack comes in the form of plastic gloves and inside is a solution enriched with  witch hazel, grapefruit, baobab tree, grape, olive leaf and collagen extracts to deeply moisturise and nourish dry hands.

You simply pop the gloves on for 20 – 30 minutes and then remove.

I  love the concept of this and will definitely use this when my hands are in need of an intensive nourishing treatment.

3. Pure Plus Hydrogel Moisturising Nail Patch  – Full Size pack RRP £4.87

When it comes to discovering new innovative products I can always rely on Memebox to bring them to me!

This pack contains 10 clever nail patches enriched with collagen, milk, pearl powder, gold and parrafin and delivers intense moisture and nutrition deep into the nails within 20 minutes of application.

I never really have time to care for my nails inbetweeen nail varnish applications and these are ideal to pop on whilst your watching tv.

4. Shara Shara Soft Hand Gommage – Full Size 50ml RRP £3.65

This is a gentle moistursing peeling gel for dry hands and works to remove any hard calluses and skin impurities leaving your hands soft and silky smooth.

The gel based formula is quite refreshing and light. You can feel the exfoliating beads which are really gentle to the touch and is not abrasive on the skin, Once washed off my hands felt much softer. Most hand exfoiliators I’ve tried contain oil based ingredients which feel heavy and horrible on the skin to a point where I just want to wash off the residue. I love this gel formula which leaves no traces of oil on the skin.

5. With Shan Dr. Care Set – Full Size  RRP £7.92

The Dr.Care Set comes with  a nail file to care for split, broken nails and a strengthening varnish to prevent further damage.

I’ve never used a strengthening varnish as my nails are pretty strong and very rare do they split or break however the nail file is really good quality and files the nails perfectly in a couple of strokes.

6. With Shan Baby Hand Set – Full Size RRP £5.48

This treatment oil is infused with lemon oil and vitamin E and helps nourish and soften rough calluses and excess cuticles on your nails and comes with another nail file however this nail file does something a little different…

You simply soak the nail file with the treatment oil and apply a little drop to each of your nails and gently file away any calluses or cuticles on the nail bed.

Unfortunately I couldn’t try this on my painted finger nails but my toes were at the ready!

Initially when I looked at the nail file it appeared far too abrasive to use around the nail bed area however when the treatment oil is applied to both the file and the nail it smoothly removes any excess cuticles with complete ease and did not scratch the nail bed in the slightest. I’m pleasantly surprised with this treatment oil it’s really effective when used with the file and most of all it’s  much quicker then other cuticle removers I have used.

7. SUR 3D Nail Art Kit – Full Size RRP £17.68

Lastly within the box is a nail art kit containing a revolutionary magnetic nail varnish, a magnet and a vibrant orange nail art pen.

This was the item I was most excited about mainly because I wanted to see if the magnetic method actually worked. I applied two coats of the silver nail varnish to the nail swatches and held the magnet in the direction I wanted the stripes to go. Within literally a couple of seconds the design appeared perfectly and visible.

The second item within the kit was a nail art pen which came in an neon orange and whilst this isn’t a colour I would use, the pen itself has a thin nib which gives the utmost precision when applying.

My Verdict

Another great curated Memebox which is all things dedicated to hand and nail care. This box contains of all the products you could possibly need to refine those neglected hands, and with the colder weather stream making an appearance this comes at the perfect time. Whether it be daily moisturisation or simply some indulgent pampering time, this box contains a good mix of products which will leave your hands and nails in the perfect condition.

The box itself came well packaged in a robust padded envelope and I can confirm that no custom charges were incurred. The information about the products and how to apply them is in English on a card enclosed inside of the box so you won’t be lost in translation.

What makes Memebox very different is the variety and choice of beauty boxes which they offer their customers as a one off purchase. They release a huge amount of boxes throughout the year and will simply leave you spoilt for choice. They don’t release any spoilers prior to shipping so it’s a complete surprise when you receive it.

Memebox enables me to discover Korean beauty products which are not available here in the UK and their boxes definitely give you an opportunity to try out the latest beauty trends in Korea.

The contents within this box is worth £53.00 and the cost of the box including shipping works out to be around £18.29. It’s a small price to pay to discover these hidden gems. There’s no silly little samples in this box!

This box is still available on the Memebox website.
