Today I’m back to share some amazing non-toxic and cruelty-free finds from May’s Pip Box and I’m really excited to show you what they featured. Covering nail art, make-up, hair and an oil from one of my favourite good for you brand there’s so much to love this month – I think it’s one of their best curations yet and to no surprise it has now sold out.

If you’re new to Pip Box then they are a strictly cruelty-free beauty subscription and their boxes contain 5 beauty treats, which will be a mix of full sized products and travel sized treats ranging from make-up, skincare, body and hair care products from organic and natural to multi-award winning brands. Their subscriptions start from £13.50 depending on the plan you opt for but you’ll also be pleased to know that 50p from each box sold goes to an animal friendly charity.

So without further ado here are all the goodies that featured inside this month’s box:

Up first and the item I was most excited to see inside this month’s box is a very generous addition in the form of a MoYou London Nail Plate in Kaleidoscope, Stamp and Scraper (RRP £9.99)I’ve been eyeing up their plates for a while now but have been putting myself off as I’m not the greatest when it comes to nail art so I’m very grateful that Pip Box included this. The set includes a plate, a scraper and a stamper so you’re pretty much all set to get creative – wish me luck!

On the hair care front we have the Grapefruit and Cedarwood Shampoo and Conditioner Duo (Travel size RRP £3.99 each) from Conscious Skincare, a Welsh organic and natural brand I’ve never come across before but I do love the sound of these and the fact that this duo helps to soften the hair. With the zesty, refreshing essential oils of Grapefruit it promises to leave your hair with a lovely clean fragrance. The addition of Organic Sunflower, Organic Aloe Vera and Rosehip oil to further moisturise.

Next up the Bloomtown Roll On Infused Oil in The Rose Garden (RRP £4.80) and is something that already resides inside my handbag thanks to another beauty box so I’m really pleased to have another as a back-up  plus I absolutely adore this brand and everything they stand for. Although the formula has been marketed mainly for dry patches and split ends, I’ve been using this as a perfume instead as it’s ideal for every day and smells so pretty plus the roller-ball bottle is so easy to carry around.

Last out of the box and another favourite of mine is the Semi-Matte Liquid Lipstick in Sugar Dumpling by Glo by Glory (RRP £16.99). This is my first time trying out this brand and I have to say I’m pretty impressed. For starters, the formula is vegan and also benefits from being full coverage, comfortable and long lasting. Having tried this over the weekend I can definitely confirm it meets all of these claims and another plus point is the pink dusty shade is absolutely gorgeous and very wearable too.

My Verdict

Overall, I thought this was a such a fantastic spring themed edition from Pip Box and I particularly love the variety, all the new discoveries and how gorgeous everything smells from the hair duo, the roll-on infused oil right through to the semi-matte liquid lipstick! In terms of stand outs, the liquid lipstick is a firm winner and I can’t wait to get creative with the nail plate and treat my hair to the duo from Conscience Skin. I think Pip Box have really upped their game as of late and I can’t wait to see what they’ve selected next month as its centred around summer – my favourite season for beauty boxes!

If you want to explore more cruelty-free options or thinking of making the switch then I highly recommend checking out the Pip Box plus they also include some discount codes which you can redeem via the brands featured.
