Today’s blog post features a brand new beauty and wellbeing subscription box for me and it’s the Natural Wellness Box which launched earlier this year and founded by Katherine a mother of two, with a passion for subscription boxes and all things natural. The September edit is all about Balance – what the hell is that these days especially if you’re a mum or working full time! With this in mind, the carefully handpicked products fit in perfectly with the theme and not only supports a toxin-free lifestyle but these types of focused subscriptions really help you along the way regardless of whether you’re just starting out on your journey or want to explore more from natural and good for you brands.

Natural Wellness Box is for those who would like to discover natural, chemical free beauty, health and wellness alternatives all in one subscription box, without having to subscribe to a number of different boxes. This is a bi-monthly subscription which is delivered in January, March, May, July, September and November and plans start from £33.00.

Here’s what they featured inside their September Balance edition:

The weather is getting cooler, and you know what that means – it’s time to start enjoying those hot baths again! Juno Skincare isn’t a brand I’ve come across before but I have to say, I’m impressed with their Bath and Body Oil (Full size RRP £25.00)! This beautifully fragrant bath oil replenishes your skin and restores balance to body and mind. With a luxurious blend of damask rose, pomegranate seed oil and patchouli leaf, as well as the pure aromatherapy essences of cedarwood and bergamot, it softens, smooths and nourishes your skin. This smells absolutely incredible and really transports you to a happy place – new favourite bath oil right here!

Up next we have the Skin and Tonic London Calm Balm (Full size RRP £15.00), a nourishing multi functional balm that soothes dry, damaged skin, aids sleep and calms your mood. It’s made from a blend of natural butters and oils including nourishing Shea butter and calendula. They’ve added certified organic lavender and chamomile for their calming properties – on both your skin and your mind.

Sticking to skincare we have the Chobs Rice Bran Mask Pack (RRP £4.10)  from a k-beauty brand that’s natural and organic. With a generous amount of “organic rice bran extract” used, the mask helps soothe fatigued skin and make it bright and healthy.

Something as simple as lighting a scented candle really does create the most relaxing atmosphere especially now autumn has crept up on us so I was really pleased to see the Celtic Herbal Calm Candle (RRP £5.50). This 100% Natural Soy Wax Candle is infused with pure lavender essential oil to create a calm & soothing atmosphere. I especially love that it uses a soy wax blend, so it keeps the air clean and free of soot.

One of the best ways to nourish our bodies is to feed it with superfoods! Some days though, it can be hard to fit these into our diet and that’s where the Potion London Eat your Green Supplement (RRP £24.00) comes in! Packed full of beauty-boosting, anti-viral, anti-ageing and antioxidant superfoods, it’s the perfect way to boost your five-a-day effortlessly! This unique blend contains spirulina, barley grass, wheat grass, spinach, kale and beetroot which contain significant amounts of vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, protein and dietary fibre, and contain all of the essential amino acids needed by the body. Benefits include healthier skin, reduced risk of disease, lowered cholesterol, increased muscle strength and performance. I’m absolutely useless sticking to my 5 a day so these are gonna be so handy for me.

Lastly you can expect to see two Relax Cinnamon Spiced Cacao tea bags from Aduna in addition to a Coconut Cashew Raw Energy Bar from Squirrel Sisters.

My Verdict

Unboxing this month’s Natural Wellness box was one amazing sensory experience and I think you’ll agree they stuck to the theme throughout! Between the relaxing candle and calm balm, the beautifully scented bath oil and tea, I think they absolutely nailed their balance theme with a host of good for you treats. Add in the superfood-infused supplements, and I’m all set for a month of pure pampering inside and out (well, except for the energy bar…because that’s all gone)! I really enjoyed the variety this box had to offer and majority of the items were full sized meaning the bi-monthly subscription cost is very quickly redeemed. I can’t wait to see what November brings but judging by this curation I have a feeling it’s going to be just as appealing!
