It feels like forever since I last reviewed a Roccabox (August seems such a long ago!) so today I’m back to show you all what they featured inside October edition. This month’s line-up focuses on key essentials for the autumn months and it’s definitely a cheery one – well it certainly brightened up my day as not only does it contain a product from a newly favourite brand of mine which Roccabox introduced me to via a previous edit but the majority is new discoveries for me.

Without further ado here’s what they featured inside their October edition:

I do like receiving perfume samples inside my beauty boxes but if I’m honest I rather have them as an extra treat instead of being 1 of the five products from the line-up! Nonetheless, the Agent Provocateur Aphrodisasque Eau de Parfum (sample vial) is a floral fruity fragrance featuring top notes of blackberry, jasmine, and white pepper, heart notes of honey, cereus, and vanilla orchid, and base notes of musk and resins.

Moving onto skin care and something I’ll definitely benefit from is the  Ooharr Fruity Magic Rejuvenating Cream Mask (x1 RRP £1.20), a jam-packed mask with an oomph of nutrients thanks to a host of natural ingredients like rejuvenating Green Tea, skin-soothing Aloe and regenerating Honey. It features vitamins A, C and E, and is described as the perfect detox – leaving skin soft and supple with a natural glow.  The mask can also help treat spot-prone skin.

Up next and a brand new discovery for me is the Coco & Eve Like A Virgin Hair Mask (15ml travel size) which is a 5-in-1 hair treatment that works in just 10 minutes. It strengthens, repairs, tames and treats thanks to raw virgin coconuts and Argan Oil  which treats split ends and tames frizz

Thanks to a previous Roccabox, I fell head over heels over Bilou, their packaging is just the cutest but their formulations are also just as loveable. Their Cotton Candy Gentle Cream Foam (Full size RRP £3.99) is a gentle, creamy foam lotion that ensures deep moisture and velvety smooth skin and the scent is described as a fluffy cloud of cotton candy, sweet and caramel – yum!

Last out of the box we have the Hairon Detangling Black Diamond Hairbrush (Full size RRP £6.99) which sits really snug in the palm of your hand! Made to safely detangle natural hair extensions without snagging and tugging, it’s suitable for wet and dry hair and prevents less damage to the hair.

My Verdict

Covering hair, skin care and fragrance, there was definitely a few interesting additions inside this box but there was also one nit-picky disappointment too in the form of the perfume vial – this really should have been an extra in my opinion! Nonetheless, I really liked the contents this month and for me everything appears to be useable but my absolute favourites so far include the body foam and the hairbrush. The face mask also arrived in good time as my skin is having a bit of melt down at the moment so I’m looking forward to smothering this on my face! There’s also a couple of full sizes, always a bonus when that happens!
