I’m really late to the Pink Parcel party this month as my box arrived super late but it finally arrived and their October curation is all about the barefaced beauty basics and touches on hair, skin care and also features a nifty little make-up brush cleaner in addition to all your period essentials in the form of pads and tampons for both day and night (dependant on your preferences) and a ‘For Now’ pouch which you can slip into your handbag.
If you’re new to Pink Parcel it’s a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbencies, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.
Without further ado here’s what you can expect to see inside this month’s Pink Parcel:
I love rose infused products so The Organic Pharmacy Rose Facial Cleansing Gel (Sample size 20ml) was a welcome addition inside this month’s edition. This cleanser contains Aloe, Rose Hip, Rose and Bilberry and gently cleans and conditions the skin leaving it fresh and glowing. Their website recommends using this in the morning.
I’m definitely not a morning person so if there’s something that’s going to make me look that more awake then I want in… cue the MUDMASKY® Morning Boost Mask (Travel size 20ml)! Containing a unique blend of Premium Arabica Coffee, Moroccan Lava Clay combined with fresh Indonesian flowers and rice, it energizes and lifts your skin, hydrates and smoothens, while feeding your skin with the needed vitamins. It works in just 1 minute!
Up next is the Kawaii Enterprise Lilac Brush Cleansing Egg (Full size RRP £6.99) and it’s something I’ve received previously so I wasn’t excited to see this again but I guess there’s no harm having a back-up! This brush cleaner slides right on your fingers and features two sets of grooves so you can deep clean all of your brushes thoroughly, quickly and easily! Bye Bye wrinkly hands!
I only recently got introduced to the brand What’s in it for me (Travel size 50ml) and really enjoyed their body scrub so I was quite pleased to see something else from their line amongst this month’s line up. Their Body Cleanser (Travel size) combines aloe vera, witch hazel and grapefruit extract to cleanse and detoxify. The cooling peppermint and rosemary oil help to calm and invigorate the skin and body. The grapefruit scent is a lovely pick me up for the mornings.
Last out of the box and my least favourite are the Bandzee hair ties (RRP £6.95), I have nothing against these ties which also double up as bracelets but I much prefer Invisibobbles.
Tea and Sweet Treats – 2 items
As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see a sample of tea and foodie treats – the perfect mix to kerb those cravings and as always they sure do hit the spot but always disappear so quickly!

My Verdict
So was this month’s Pink Parcel worth the wait? I’m not going to lie but some of the contents did leave me a little underwhelmed and this was mainly due to the fact that I had already sampled one of the products plus I’m a little bored of seeing these hair ties pop up time and time again but I don’t know what disappointed me more the above or the lack of chocolate – they were so tiny! Nonetheless, the mask, the body cleanser and the face cleanser are all things that I’m looking to trying out and definitely made up for the shortfall!
