I’m back today to unveil the November Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box and it’s been a couple of month’s since I last received a box. For me personally and like many the main appeal of this particular subscription is the fact that they mostly feature make-up so I was really surprised to see not one but three skin care products amongst the line-up but on the plus side instead of the usual 4 products there’s five this month which was a nice bonus.

If you’re new to Look Incredible they offer three types of beauty boxes which range from £25 to £65 and aim to deliver lust worthy beauty treats (mainly make-up) from brands we all love and know straight to your door and no spoilers are released so it’s a complete surprise when it arrives.

Here’s what I received inside the December Deluxe edition:

Up first and a firm favourite of mine is the Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow to Go Palette (RRP £19.00), a brand I’ve had a really good experience with and this palette looks very promising! Inspired by makeup artist techniques, this portable highlight & contour palette helps you glow on-the-go using healthy ingredients and powered by long wearing Amazonian clay for fade-free payoff. Designed to work on every skin tone, the three exclusive shades have rich, cool undertones to mimic real shadow & light reflection for the most natural look. There are two highlighting powders in addition to a matte contour.

Moving onto skin care we have three full sized products from bareMinerals and although I would have preferred more make-up this month, there are a couple of beneficial items that I’m looking forward to trying. Up first, we have the Clay Chameleon Transforming Purifying Cleanser (Full size), an innovative clay-to-cream facial cleanser that combines the benefits of purifying Brazilian Red Clay and mineral-rich Sea Salts with the soft comfort of a cream. Enriched with Papaya and Bamboo Extracts, the formula works to gently remove impurities and help detoxify, to leave your skin feeling pure, soft and supple. This skin-enlivening formula is infused with the scent of Bergamot and Mandarin to help uplift the senses each time you cleanse.

Up next and from the same collection as above is the bareMinerals Smart Combination Smoothing Lightweight Emulsion (Full size) which is powered by Intuitive Mineral Moisture Technology to replenish combination to normal skin with oil-free hydration to leave it feeling incredibly soft and ultra-smooth. This moisture-rich yet lightly-textured emulsion helps to increase moisture levels for healthy-looking balance. Plus, a blend of peptides, ceramides and amino acids to help smooth rough texture, lessening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The subtle notes of Bergamot and Eucalyptus add to the sensory experience to gently enliven and awaken your senses.

Worth £34.00 we have bareMinerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion (Full size) and considering the monthly subscription is £35.00, I think it’s such a generous addition but it’s not something I can see myself using unfortunately. Designed to revive and help maintain your skin’s most vibrant look of health, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with Long Life Herb Extract at its core, the formula helps to promote skin’s vitality, replenishing it with moisture and reawakening the look of youth. Skin is left feeling empowered, renewed and fortified, with enhanced resilience and a glowingly healthy look.

Last out of the box and my least favourite due to the shade is the Lorac Cosmetics Alter Ego Lipstick (Full size). Described as sexy and playful, the formula coats your lips in highly-pigmented colour with an opaque, matte finish. It also contains antioxidants such as acai berry, pomegranate, grape seed extract, and vitamins C and E.

 My Verdict

For me personally, this month’s box was a little hit and miss. On the one hand I loved the Tarte palette and despite being the pickiest when it comes to skin care there’s even a couple of the skin care products I’m looking forward to trying out. On the other hand, I wasn’t so thrilled that three out of the five products were skin care as this particular subscription stands out from the rest due to the focus on make-up – to be fair the skin care overload doesn’t happen much!
