First off, I have to say I’m loving the featured quote and design of the February valentines themed Glossybox!  I’m also equally liking the majority of the products which have been picked out to make us feel sexy and confident plus you can expect to see four full sizes this month which is just one of the bonuses when you subscribe to Glossybox. It’s also great to see Huda Beauty on board again!

If you’re new to Glossybox, it’s a monthly subscription box that comes packed with both deluxe-sized and full-size products and covers all areas of beauty from skin care, hair, nails, make-up and everything else in between from brands we all love and know as well as those hidden gems too! The box costs £13.25 per month and contains contents which always exceed the overall subscription price.

Here’s what I received inside my February Glossybox:

Up first and the main showstopper inside this month’s edition is the Huda Beauty Lip Contour (Full size £16.00) in the shade Flirt which is nude hue but on the darker side meaning it won’t wash you out. The other shade option you may receive is venus which is a pinky hue. While I reach for lipsticks almost everyday, lip liners just aren’t something I use on a regular basis.  The good news is that even if you don’t use liners, this creamy pencil can be used to fill in the entire lip, so it doubles as lipstick in a way (and a long-lasting one too!).

Sticking to make-up we have the Luxie Beauty Small Contour Brush (Full size £15.00) which is another winner for me. It’s well made, sturdy and has soft and dense bristles. The size and shape is great for contouring and applying bronzer. The brush is hypoallergenic, vegan and cruelty-free.

It’s been a hell of a while since I’ve received a nail varnish inside a Glossybox  and this month they’ve picked out the perfect shade of red (status ready) from Nails Inc (Full Size £15.00) that will look flattering on all skin tones. Nails Inc are probably one of my favourite brands, their formulas are insanely smooth and chip resistant and the brush is really easy to work with too!

On the skin care front is the Vitamasque Multivitamin Mask (Full size £4.99). Packed full of B vitamins to soothe, hydrate and nourish your skin, this ultra-thin mask is a perfect daily mask and has a great balance of everything. It’s also suitable for all skin types and is formulated to give thirsty skin all it needs to have the get up and glow you need.

I think the item that lost my interest the most was the Regenerate Toothpaste (Sample size 14ml), it’s not the most exciting addition and was actually featured in July last year! This toothpaste does a host of innovative stuff such as utilising clinically proven, patented NR-5™ technology based upon years of extensive research which effectively recreates the mineral that tooth enamel is made of, working to reverse the early erosion process and protect against cavities, acid and decay.

This month’s bonus treat includes Mugler Alien Fusion fragrances for him and her (Sample vials). I adore the original Alien scent so I can’t wait to try this version.

My Verdict

I absolutely love the box design this month (it’s a keeper!) and the contents were just as loveable apart from the toothpaste which just didn’t excite me at all! My favourites so far include the Huda Beauty Lip Contour, the Luxie Small Contour Brush and the Nails inc nail varnish. Did I mention that Glossybox have included four full sizes  so if you like what they’ve featured then it’s definitely worth picking up this month’s valentines edition. The addition of the Mugler fragrances for him and her was a nice finishing touch to the theme.
