Today I’m back with another unboxing and it’s the September Birchbox which has once again been packaged absolutely gorgeously and contents-wise I couldn’t have been more pleased with it. This month’s theme is “Sweet Simplicity,” which translates to “uncomplicated beauty goodies”, something I really appreciate on Monday mornings! Line-up wise there’s a good assortment of beauty from skin and body care right through to hair and make-up and also includes a new brand discovery alongside brands I’m already familiar with. The items I’m most looking forward to trying out is the Caudalie Purifying Cleanser, I’m currently using the moisturiser from the very same range and the hair mask couldn’t have arrived at a better time as my hair could do with some additional help on the thickening side of things! The exfoliating peeling gel is also something that’s caught my attention and it comes with the added bonus of rose! I have a ton load of body creams to get through but I think this one by Baija definitely needs to be moved on top of the list as it smells absolutely incredible! All in all, Birchbox delivered a lovely selection of beauty treats to try out this month and I don’t think there’s anything here that I won’t be able to get use out of. On the flip side if you’re looking for value then this isn’t that kind of subscription as they only occasionally include full sizes but instead it’s a great example of beauty discovery and an excellent way to try a bunch of well-known brands and those that are up and coming in the form of good sized samples. I’ve come to love quite a few products over the years thanks to Birchbox and still re-purchase them now – the beauty of beauty boxes!
