Today’s unboxing is a fairly new member of the beauty box family and it’s the April Hayati Box which launched in December last year.
If you’re new to this subscription, the founder has worked in the beauty retail industry for years and when the pandemic reached a drastic turn, retail took a big hit so whilst being at home during lockdown, she came up with the idea of a subscription beauty box which would consist of the popular brands consumers were buying on a daily basis.
Each month on their website they reveal the products which you may receive inside your box. This is what they had in store for April and as you can see there’s quite a few variations so it’s pretty much a lucky dip! Subscriptions start from £16.95 plus £2.95 postage. If you’re a new customer you will get a pop up to get 10% off on their website.
Thanks to DealVixen on Instagram I managed to grab their April box as a one off and they became out of stock very soon thereafter. I’ve seen some great April edits floating around since but unfortunately my line up just wasn’t one of them plus I also received a product that wasn’t on above list and is perhaps the only item I’m looking forward to trying (The Chin Lift Sculpting Sheet Mask promises to help define your profile in just 20 minutes!). This month’s focus was on brands Huda Beauty, Kayali and Wishful so I was hoping for a more balanced line up but I ended up with mostly products from Wishful which was a little disappointing in all honesty. Whilst this edit wasn’t a winner for me I’ll probably just dip in and out dependant on what they have on offer each month.
