Unboxed: The Pomelo Box + Offer

Today’s post is all about a brand new quarterly beauty and lifestyle subscription box from The Pomelo Box and I’m excited to show you what’s inside their first ever edition themed ‘Spring is in the Air’ – it’s a good one!

Before I reveal the contents, their mission is all about supporting talented UK artisans and smaller businesses, some well-known and many not so well-known. Every 3 months, they’ll curate a new themed box, which will feature handpicked products from amazing artisan brands based in the UK.  They also like to look out for products that particularly focus on sustainablity and promote transparency, as well as brands that support fair trade practices.

The Pomelo Box always aims to provide value and variety in each box.  Boxes are a different theme each quarter, so you’ll never get the same item. Each quarterly box will contain:

  • A minimum of 5 full sized items (no samples here)
  • Always Free P&P
  • Retail value of the box will always be much more than the actual cost of the box.
  • A variety of items ranging from heath and beauty, home, stationery, jewellery and confectionary.

Their subscription starts from £47.99 and they offer a quarterly and annual plan alongside a one off box which is currently on offer for £44.99. Pomelo Box have kindly set up an exclusive code WBB5 so you can get a further £5.00 off.

What’s Inside:

  • Fused glass hanging heart, handmade by Stephanie at Morpheus Glass – RRP £16.95
  • Betty Hula Anti-bacterial Lime and Mango Hand Moisturiser – RRP £12.99
  • Vetivert & Co Lavender & Vetivert Dead Sea Salt Body Polish – RRP £30.00
  • Mei Botanic Studio Tsubaki Blue Facial Oil – RRP £11.10
  • Arya Candle – RRP £8.00
  • Kabloom Wildflower Seedbom – RRP £3.95
  • Seed & Bean raspberry and coconut chocolate bar – RRP £2.95

For their very first offering, I think Pomelo Box did a great job curating this edit and every single item is a true fit for their ‘Spring is the Air’ theme. This winter has been so LONG and this box definitely boosted my mood while introducing me to a bunch of brands and products that I wouldn’t of discovered otherwise and I think you’ll agree there’s a good sprinkling of lifestyle products in addition to beauty treats. My only complaint and it is a very small one, the box itself is very plain with no branding whatsoever so hopefully this is something they take into consideration in the near future. The value of the box totals up to £85.84 with the added bonus of all full sized products.
