We all love a new subscription launch and today’s blog post features The Pearl and Wine Luxury Quarterly Box which has made its first debut this month! The brand started out as a UK-based fashion and lifestyle blog which launched in the summer of July 2020 and with a change of direction they have evolved into a luxury subscription box for the classy, elegant lady of today.
“We want to share valuable ideas, insights and information in the form of luxury, high-quality products that tickle each of the 5 senses to bring peace and inner joy for the everyday chic, modern, and elegant woman.”
The box concept has been marketed as a luxury experience for the classy lady who prides herself on beauty, refinement, elegance, manners and etiquette, and what it truly means to be a high-value woman. And everybody knows, a classy lady deserves nothing but the best!
Each edit will contain a minimum of five luxurious gifts and items from beauty, food, home, inspiration, lifestyle as well as something extra special for the classy lady. With an emphasis placed on class and elegance, each box is carefully curated around each season and work with high-end, independent businesses to offer a unique and exciting experience for each and every one of our boxes.
The boxes will be sent out in January, April, July, and October each year during the second week of these months. In terms of cost, the quarterly subscription is £72.99 and currently you can get your hands on this edit for £65.69 and shipping is always included. You can also expect to see a comprehensive booklet inside which goes through each of the products in detail.
What’s inside:
- Rare Tea Company Speedy Breakfast Loose Leaf Tea – 50g RRP £4.49
- Nakin Revitalising Face Oil – 50ml RRP £22.00
- Sensory Retreats Amour Eyes Self-Heating Eye Mask – RRP £3.95
- The Box Edition silk hair scrunchies in blush and pearl – RRP £7.99 each
- Candalia London Fleur d’Oranger Candle – RRP £12.00
- Signed copy of The Bluffer’s Guide to Etiquette by William Hanson – RRP £5.75
I was really excited about this launch however when it arrived in the mail it was a little lackluster for the £72.99 price tag. The packaging most definitely mimics that luxurious feel and the products selected were all in alignment with the theme but there was nothing that particularly sparked my interest apart from the hair scrunchies and the Nakin Face Oil. If you’re a regular reader you’ll know I love a good candle and this one does indeed smell lovely but it was rather disappointing to see a travel size. Taking into account that they are very new to the market, I think there’s definitely room for improvement and development, unfortunately this time round I don’t think this particular edit boasts value which approximately totals up to around £56.18. It will be interesting to see what they have in store for their next edition.
