“Love Me Beauty” is a Beauty subscription service like the other boxes however you get to choose the products you want from a choice of 3 menu’s each month. Each menu has a slightly different set of  items to complement the diverse needs of their subscribers.

This month I got in early and opted for Menu 1.

The box included 3 full sized products and 3 sample  sized products. The box mainly consisted of  Beauty Products this month. No hair products!

1.     Deep Steep Moisture Stick in Lavender and Chamomile – Full Size 15ml RRP £3.60

I have never heard of this brand however these balm type products are making quite an appearance within the beauty industry. Upon appearance it looks like a larger version of a chap stick!  Deep Steep is formulated to melt on contact with the heat from your skin. The stick  is rich in hydrating oils and butters and targets dry areas which in turn gives you soft, supple skin.

I tried this on the back of my feet last night using a spatula to scoop some of the product out. This melts and becomes pliable as soon as it comes into your contact with your skin! The texture and feel of this product is quite greasy and I had to wear a pair of socks to ensure the oiliness didn’t come into contact with the carpet! This moisture stick smelt gorgeous which was nice. This morning my feet did feel soft which is positive. A good product at a steal of a price and small enough to keep in your handbag for those moments of dryness!

2.     The Vintage Cosmetic Company False Lashes –  Full Size  RRP £6.00

I am familiar with this brand but only until recently when I received a set a tweezers from them in a previous subscription box.

I am a great fan of false lashes and in my opinion a girl can never have enough! My collection of lashes is growing on a daily basis and therefore I was delighted to receive these. Just wish I had more excuses to wear them! The packaging itself is very pretty and chic and the box states that you can re-use these which is great. The lashes also look voluminous and long in length which is what I look for when it comes to purchasing lashes. They look natural too which means you can wear these during the day as well as nights out.

3.     Murad Sheer Lustre Day Moisturiser  – Sample Size 7.5ml. For Full Size 150ml RRP £64

I have heard of this brand but have never used any of their products so was pleased to see another new brand this month by Love Me Beauty. This cream deeply hydrates your skin while powerfully protects against harmful UV rays, minimises lines and provides a natural dewy glow.

This product came in a sample size and I am very thankful for that as unfortunately I am unable to use products which contain SPF on my face as I tend to breakout in spots. I hope to discover further products from this brand hopefully which do not contain SPF!

4.     Quintessentially English Bath Salts in English Rose – Sample Size 50g. For Full Size 100g RRP £4.25

Another product which I am a newbie to! These bath salts smell so amazing and within the pack is a little dry rose which really does compliment the look of this product.

I am looking forward trying these in the bath after a hard day at work but in the meantime I have put these on display in my bathroom!

5.  Nip + Fab CC Eye Fix – Full Size RRP £6.00

I have definitely heard of this brand and used my first product which I received as a gift during Christmas and was pleasantly surprised.

This product is a refreshing eye cream and concealer all in one. More than just an eye moisturiser, it help reduce fine lines, moisturises and conceals dark circles.

When using such products my main concern is coverage. The coverage is very natural than some concealers i have used in the past which have caused cakiness under the eyes – this certainly did not cake and I love the fact that its a eye cream too which means you dont have to use two separate products. This also brightens under the eye area and did make me look far more awake than usual!

I will definately continue to use this product and what a great price it is too!

6.  BlanX White Shock Tooth Paste –  Sample Size 15ml. For Full Size 50ml RRP £6.00

When I recieved this my thoughts were “Oh great a travel sized toothpaste! I can use this when travelling”. It was only when I reserched further that I realised that this wasn’t your average toothpaste and it was then when the excitment kicked in! The lesson to be learnt here is never judge a book by it’s cover!

My Verdict

I am impressed once again with “Love Me Beauty” They really do deliver when it comes to discovering new brands and the quality of their products not to mention the choices which are available from their 3 menus.

This box contained an impressive 6 items this month mostly from brands which I had not discovered before. The products included a range of  make-up, face and body products.  No hair products this month but I can live with that!

This is the same price as GlossyBox and BirchBox subscription boxes. The quality and selection of the products are great also. Out of the 6 items I received 3 full sized items.

Overall, this is a good box this month and if you want to discover new brands this is the box for you. The contents within this month’s box is worth around £20+ which is more than the price of the box!

The beauty of this box is I like the fact that I can choose the items I want from three menus instead of receiving random items that I probably may never use, however I also like the surprise of not knowing what you’re getting like BirchBox and GlossyBox! The excitement is not so intense when you know what you’re getting! I guess you can’t have the best of both worlds!!!! I look forward to discovering more innovative brands from “Love Me Beauty”
