“Love Me Beauty” is a Beauty subscription service like the other boxes however you get to choose the products you want from a choice of 3 menu’s each month. Each menu has a slightly different set of  items to complement the diverse needs of their subscribers.

This month I opted for Menu 3.

The box included 3 full sized products, 1 good sized sample and 1 Hello Fresh Gift card. The box mainly consisted of  Hair and Beauty Products this month.

1.    Neal & Wolf Ritual Daily Cleansing Shampoo – Full Size 250ml RRP £11.50

This is designed to cleanse hair, leaving it fresh, full of shine and ready for styling and is an infusion of silk and milk proteins.

This is a whopping 250ml full sized product. This smells quite rich and not like an average shampoo making it quite luxurious. Its a daily shampoo also for all hair types.

Unfortunately I am unable to use this on my hair as I have Cinderella hair extensions in and am only allowed to use a certain shampoo on my hair – I would love to try this. I’m sure my sisters will be fighting over this product!

2.    Redken Colour Extend Conditioner –  Sample Size 25ml. Full Size 250ml RRP £9.99

I love Redken products so was pleased to see this in the selection menu this month.

This is a conditioner for colour treated hair to resurface the cuticle for a smooth, vibrant finish. Also detangles and provides protection from fading agents while restoring colour vibrancy.

I have just recently had my locks coloured with some tints of red which will fade rapidly if not looked after so I welcome this product. Looking forward to trying this over the weekend.

3.    Models Own Nail Polish in Fuzzy Peach – Full Size RRP £5.00

Another welcomed brand and who can resist a bottle of nail polish.

This is a lovely coral/orange colour perfect for the warmer weather which we are getting the pleasure of at the moment.

The application of this nail polish does require a couple of coats for good coverage and a top coatt to finish off.

4.     Betty Hula Secret Wonder Oil – Full Size 10ml RRP £6.25

Something which I have noticed since subscribing to beauty boxes is the fact that oils and balms are becoming quite popular in the beauty industry maybe I haven’t noticed these products as they just don’t appeal to me only because I don’t like oily products however I am some what warming to these after trying a few already.

This is a new addition to the Betty Hula range and comes in the form of a roller ball  which is great for an even and non messy application! For someone like me who can be a bit clumsy at times this will be safe in my hands!

This product is highly versatile and is a moisturising oil to relieve stretch marks, scarring, dry skin or soothing sunburn. The possibilities are endless. This smells lovely and does not leave your skin greasy at all.

This is small enough to pop into your bag or your beach bag when on holiday making it a great little essential which doesn’t take up any room what so ever!

5.  Hello Fresh Gift Card –  Value of £25.00

Really wasn’t happy to have received this in my box this month as I would of preferred to have had a product but the value of this gift is card is £25.00.

Hello Fresh deliver delicious recipes and the exact ingredients to your door every week from a selection of different type of boxes.

I did go onto their website to see what my £25.00 would get me. I choose a classic box for 3 meals and two people which appeared to be the cheapest in their range and the total came to £39.00 including delivery meaning I would only have to pay £14.00 for the box. A good saving and concept but not really something I would order online.

My Verdict

I am reasonably happy with this month’s box however I wasn’t wowed unlike the previous months mainly because this month I only received 4 products compared to the previous months where you usually receive 5-6. It appears that they knocked up the value of this box with the gift card which I think is a little cheeky. They do deliver when it comes to discovering new brands and the quality and sizes of their products not to mention the choices which are available from their 3 menus so no qualms there!

The box included 3 full sized products, 1 good sized sample and 1 Hello Fresh Gift card. The box mainly consisted of  Hair and Beauty Products this month.

This is the same price as GlossyBox and BirchBox subscription boxes. The quality and selection of the products are great also. Out of the 4 items 3 of them were full sized.

Overall, this is an ok box this month and if you want to discover new brands and want to receive good sized products this is the box for you. The contents within this month’s box is worth around £22.75 (not including the gift card) which is more than the price of the box!

The beauty of this box is I like the fact that I can choose the items I want from three menus instead of receiving random items that I probably may never use, however I also like the surprise of not knowing what you’re getting like BirchBox and GlossyBox! The excitement is not so intense when you know what you’re getting! I guess you can’t have the best of both worlds!!!! I look forward to discovering more innovative brands from “Love Me Beauty”
