It’s that time of the month again when I pick my favourite product which I received in one of my many beauty boxes. March has been one hell of a month for me, with so many new editions arriving mainly from Latest in Beauty it’s been almost impossible trying to shortlist just the one product as so many made the cut this month. In terms of value and quality, this month’s showstopper is the BeautyUK High Brow Palette which I received in the The Glamour Spring Beauty Edit Box by Latest in Beauty. I think we’ve all been known for a bit of make-up snobbery when it comes to budget-friendly brands and admittedly I wasn’t expecting much from this brow palette but I was really amazed when I put it to the test.
The palette is housed within a sturdy plastic case and inside there’s three different shades of powders, a clear wax, tweezers and a double-ended brow brush (angled and flat).
The darker shade within the palette was a perfect near match for me and in terms of application it’s fantastic. The powder sticks to the brush like a magnet and you don’t get any fall out from the brush unlike others I’ve tried before, one of the main reasons why I prefer a pencil. The brush has the ideal shape and flexibility and with the powder forms the perfect partnership to achieve a defined, sharp finish, and the most impressive factor is the longevity.
I love this brow kit, it brings together everything you could possibly need to achieve natural and defined looking brows and the handy sized compact is perfect for popping into your handbag for touch ups.
I use this pretty much every day and I’ve hardly noticed a dent in it at all. This is something I’d definitely recommend putting on your shopping list when you next visit Superdrug, it will be £3,99 very well spent!
