It’s that time of the month again when I pick my favourite product that I received in one of my many beauty boxes. April saw so many new discoveries for me and with this in mind it’s been almost impossible trying to shortlist just the one product but the Peppermint Hydrogel by Heaven Skincare that I received in my You Beauty Discovery Box truly deserves to be in the spotlight this month. When you find yourself literally dismantling the bottle to get the last drop you know that it’s a product worthy of a mention!
With prestigious clientele like the royals , it’s no wonder that Deborah Mitchell is causing quite a stir in the beauty world. Her Heaven skincare collection is famously made with innovation whilst also benefiting from the goodness of natural and organic ingredients, all of which are tailored to meet the needs of different skin types and concerns.
This isn’t your average skincare product, it’s a hydrogel which cleans, primes, hydrates, firms and also claims to do everything a toner does and much more. Out of the three different hydrogels I opted for the Peppermint Clarifying Hydrogel as it sounded particularly wonderful for my oily skin and promises to refine pores whilst also restoring the moisture levels in your skin.
This hard-working gel moisturises, clarifies and conditions with it’s unique all-in-one formulation and it’s light weight texture absorbs quickly without any greasiness. The novelty of the product is the infusion of peppermint in the mix which gives the gel a subtle mint fragrance and a refreshing, cooling effect upon contact with the skin. It feels incredible on my oily skin and since I’ve been using the hydrogel I’ve seen a noticeable improvement with less breakouts and much more happier looking skin within three weeks of usage. I of course took advantage of the special offer (two free samples when you buy a 30ml hydrogel) included within this month’s box and went on to purchase the full size (30ml, £19.00) and it’s become one of my top holy grail products that I reach out for on a daily basis. I can say with the utmost confidence that this line by Deborah Mitchell is a must-have in your beauty arsenal there’s so much to love but most importantly it delivers.
