Holiday blues, an exam to revise for and throw that monthly visitor into the mix, I’m not having the greatest month but trust Pink Parcel to cheer me up when I need it the most and it goes without saying it’s a very welcomed distraction! Last month’s offerings didn’t excite me as much as usual but the *March edition is back on form and features a lovely haul of surprises from beauty to lifestyle as well as a generous amount of monthly essentials that’s got you covered from the first day to the very last. There’s also lots of new discoveries on board from brands I’ve not been introduced to before so it’s a really exciting edition this month plus the box smells so AH-mazing thanks to the delicious wax melt inside!

Pink Parcel is a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbency’s, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

1. Period Essentials

No matter what your cycle length is the amount of sanitary items and liners included within the box is impressive. You can also choose between receiving pads or tampons from a good selection of brands.

I was particularly happy to see popular brands on board such as Tampax, Always and Body Form. If you’re anything like me then this really helps avoid last-minute runs to the supermarket! There’s also a useful drawstring pouch filled with pads and liners that you can pop into your handbag straightaway.

2.  SASS Intimate Refreshing Mist– RRP £8.00

Leaving no stone unturned, all subscribers will receive a feminine hygiene product every month and this edition includes  the SASS intimate Refreshing Mist. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s more of stickler when it comes to periods and good hygiene so this handy sized mist will definitely come in useful. The mist neutralises odour with a crisp fragrance to refresh you anytime, anywhere.

3. Beauty and Lifestyle – 6 Items

If you love discovering beauty products as well as lifestyle items too then this month’s edition has you covered with a line up that includes key essentials for everyday as well some additional treats in the form of a cute make-up pouch and a delicious scented wax melt.

First from the beauty line up is the Papaya Gold PawPaw Balm (Full Size RRP £5.99), a moisturising balm that’s crammed full of Bio Active Manuka Honey 20+ which soothes, moisturises dry and irritated skin and lips. It does take a while for the balm to be fully absorbed into the skin and you can be left with a slight greasy feel to the skin but the benefits are wonderful.

Organic and natural beauty brands are popping up all around the globe touting clean formulas over chemically derived ingredients and the Native Unearthed Natural Deodorant (Travel size) is definitely a product that’s sparked my interest. Naturally infused with the juices of raw aloe vera, it boasts both soothing and healing qualities and  is the perfect choice if you’re looking for a deodorant that’s both gentle and natural. It also guarantees to keep you fresh and odour free all day long.

There’s something immensely satisfying about peeling off  a face mask so I was delighted to see the Montagne Jeunesse Cucumber Peel-Off Mask (RRP £1.00). The product claims to gently peel away dead skin to reveal a fresher face.

Mylee Crystal Nail File (RRP £4.89) is a very welcomed addition and the great thing about this file is that it will never stop working!  The nail file is kind to your nails and won’t weaken them either.

On the lifestyle front there’s a Pink Parcel ‘Hello Gorgeous’ Pouch (RRP £3.99) and a Simple Candle Co Wax Melt in Caramel (RRP £2.00), a really yummy caramel scent with buttery notes, it literally smells good enough to eat!

4. Tea and Sweet Treats – 2 items

As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see a pack of delicious Baobab and Vanilla Truffles from Sweet Virtues and Pink Parcel’s very own blend of Teafields Ginger & Pineapple Green Tea.

My Verdict

Pink Parcel are definitely back on form and this edition really is reminiscent as to why I fell in love with their curations. There’s some great beauty must-haves on board this month not the forgetting the pouch and wax melt that I absolutely  adore and the tea and chocolates make the perfect pairing, something that’s always on point although I do wish we had some more as they don’t tend to last long!  With lots of new and exciting things to try from brands I’ve not been introduced to before I’ve really enjoyed this months box, it’s definitely one of my favourite editions and if that’s not enough, the generous sanitary essentials will see you right through your cycle with some to spare too!

If you’re looking for a true treat that spoils you rotten when you need it the most Pink Parcel comes out on top and is an instant pick me up that’s incredible value for money. It’s a monthly gift that you’ll definitely want to keep and the thrill of the surprise makes me really look forward to that time of the month! If anyone knows the way to a girl heart it’s Pink Parcel.
