I’ve been having a bit of a moment lately with natural beauty products! Crafted with pure, simple, powerful ingredients and no artificial nastiness, green beauty is kind of a no-brainer and while I haven’t made the transition 100%, I definitely find myself leaning more towards this option and the *Nourish Beauty Box certainly helps me on my little journey! Covering mainly skincare plus a make up treat there’s some great essentials for everyday inside the June edition and as always there’s discoveries from new and exciting natural and cruelty-free beauty brands from across the globe, something that I really love as it makes the unboxing experience that little more interesting.

Every month, the Nourish Beauty Box will offer 3 full-sized beauty products ranging from skincare/bodycare to makeup products, plus a limited edition eco-friendly tote bag, all of which can be purchased within their online shop if you happen to fall in love with something. The price of the box is $34.95 (£23.00)/month (FREE Worldwide delivery) and subscribers get at least $70 (around £46.00+) retail value in every box.

The June edition features products from Peony Cosmetics, ,Siskyn, Lipsi Cosmetics and a limited edition eco-friendly canvas tote bag from Nourish Beauty Box.

1. Siskyn Rosehip & Tamanu Scars and Stretchmark Body Oil – Full Size 150ml RRP £36.54

The first of the new discoveries is from Siskyn, a UK brand founded by two sisters who left their 9-5 jobs to create skincare products containing powerful botanical oils to target specific skin concerns.

Infused with a rich blend of 12 skin regenerating ingredients the Rosehip & Tamanu Scars and Stretchmark Body Oil works hard to enhance the repair process and refine skin texture and encourage elasticity. Super charged with Omega 7 from Sea Buckthorn to treat damaged skin and vitamin k from Avocado to help fade skin discolouration. Restorative Hemp, nourishing Rosehip and superstar Tamanu will enhance the skin’s natural healing process. Soothing Calendula stimulates the production of collagen at wound sites and minimizes scarring to create a highly effective, luxurious elixir with powerful intentions.

The precious elixir is contained inside a luxe glass bottle and I love that as well as the pump dispenser there’s also an spray applicator, perfect for an all over spritz. While I’ve not got any scars or any obvious stretch marks this works really well to enhance the appearance and quality of the skin and leaves it feeling beautifully soft, supple, radiant and glowing especially after a shower.

 2. Lipsi Cosmetics Anti-Wrinkle & Depuffing Eye Cream – Full Size 15ml RRP £14.62

As well as a full-time job and blogging on the side I’ve found a new hobby (watching Game of Thrones!) which means I’m awake until stupid o’clock trying to catch up to season 6! Unfortunately come 7am my eyes are not so forgiving so I’m truly grateful for this Anti-Wrinkle & Depuffing Eye Cream by Lipsi Cosmetics.

Containing 98% organic cream, based with an organic Olive Oil originating from the island of Crete, Greece, this 24-hour cream promises will change the health of the under-eye area. Vitamin B5 is designed to soften skin, de-puff, brighten and smooth out wrinkles. The Coconut oil, Avocado Oil and Olive Oil help to deeply hydrate and plump the under-eye skin.

3. Peony Cosmetics Hydrating Lip Tint in Dahlia – Full Size RRP £15.35

Last but not least is the Hydrating Lip Tint in Dahlia by Peony Cosmetics, a nude shade that’s a little light for my pale skin. This luscious, long-wearing hybrid between a rich stain and a hydrating balm, this product strikes the perfect balance between non-drying, pigmented colour and cushiony-soft, full lips. Infused with Grape Seed Oil and Vitamin E to moisturize and aid healing chapped lips.

4. Eco-Friendly Canvas Tote Bag with Limited Edition Print – RRP £15.71

This month’s Eco-Friendly Canvas Tote Bag has such a fun twist to it and it’s robustness makes such a great bag to accompany you on shopping trips.

My Verdict

I really enjoy discovering what nature has to offer and have noticed big changes in my skin and hair since paying more attention, and thanks to this months edition I’ve discovered 3 new products from an interesting bunch of brands. Month on month, the Nourish Beauty Box really does live up to its promise by delivering an all-natural and cruelty-free line up from make-up, skincare and body care products to a lifestyle item in the form of the canvas bag and in terms of this months offerings there’s definitely a good mix of products sourced from across the globe and a hidden gem from the UK too. As always they’ve included some really interesting brands, all of which I wouldn’t have come across otherwise so it’s a great choice for those who want to discover more from an ever-evolving industry. The only product I wasn’t too keen on was the lipstick, I loved the formula but the colour just didn’t look flattering on my pale skin. In terms of the price point the Nourish Beauty box is a little more steep in comparison to other subscriptions but you can always expect to see full sized products with RRP’s that always exceeds the monthly subscription cost and they do feature brands that offer quality and amazing ingredients.

If you love organic, natural and cruelty-free products or want to detoxify your beauty regime with a more friendly alternative the Nourish Beauty Box is the perfect way to enhance your beauty the natural way and also benefits the environment too.
