In terms of style I’m definitely not a boho-chic fashionista so I didn’t really know what to expect this month but I was pleasantly surprised by the Gypset edition in collaboration with fashion brand Antik Batik, admittedly though I was more impressed with the beauty line up rather than the lifestyle addition this month as lovely as it is. However one aspect which always shines through is the artwork and the extra little touches, it’s something that makes this box very unique and without a doubt it’s a lovely treat to receive each month and one that I always look forward to.

My Little Box is a hand-picked and beautifully designed box of beauty, fashion and lifestyle surprises. With fashion accessories, beauty products and other goodies created exclusively for you and based around a different theme every month, each box promises to delight their subscribers. They also produce their in house beauty products known as My Little Beauty.

1. Korres Basil Lemon Body Milk – Travel Size 40ml

I’ve tried quite a few products from Korres and one thing for sure their shower gels and body lotions smell absolutely amazing and the Basil Lemon Body Milk is no exception.

This moisturising body milk is enriched with vitamins and trace elements as well as essential skin energy boosting agents with a combination of skin loving ingredients such as Almond oil, active Aloe, provitamin B5 and Shea butter.

The body milk is light, absorbs very quicky without leaving any greasiness on the skin and the refreshing zesty scent is packed with a lot of pick me up power making it perfect for the mornings.

2. So Susan Colour Hybrid – Full Size 10ml RRP £14.50

One of my favourite make up items from the So Susan collection is their Colour Hybrid so I was delighted to receive another as a back up although they last for absolutely ages so this one won’t be opened for quite some time!

The creamy mousse formula comes in a luxuriously deep Marsala shade and promises to look beautiful on all skin tones.

I love the formula which feels velvety soft as soon as it touches the lips and the shade itself really packs a punch of colour alongside the Organic Sacha Inchi Oil and luxe Jasmine extract which keeps your lips feeling moist and super-soft. The strawberry scent is really  refreshing but the only downside is I want to lick my lips as it literally smells good enough to eat!

3. Hair Ties by My Little Box – Pack of 4

With my long, thick hair I need something that’s hair-friendly and can be easily taken out without causing too much damage and these do exactly that.

These hair ties are AH-mazing, great quality, super-soft, truly damage-free and definitely won’t break easily. They look pretty cute on the wrist too!

4. My Little Beauty Bronzing Powder – Full Size RRP £9.00

I think it’s pretty amazing that My Little Box also have their own beauty range which is called My Little Beauty.

This month see’s a full sized bronzing powder contained inside a compact with a good sized mirror too.

With just a single quick sweep this bronzer gives you a gorgeous sun-kissed glow that’s very natural looking and it’s so versatile that you can use it as a blusher or an eyeshadow too. I really like this compact it gives just the right touch of warmth and doesn’t give you that overdone look!

5. Lifestyle Item – Bucket Bag by Antix Batik x My Little Box

Keeping to the boho theme all subscribers can expect to see a Bucket Bag designed by both Antix Batik and My Little Box. I received the navy edition although I was hoping for the turquoise one! The bag itself comes with a shoulder strap and surprisingly it’s really good sized too. It’s a shame they didn’t release this box towards the beginning of summer as the bag makes a great festival accessory.

My Verdict

In comparison to the last couple of months I think the line up is pretty impressive on the beauty front but the lifestyle item in the form of the bag just didn’t excite me as much mainly because its just not my type of style but that being said it does fit aptly with the theme, it’s good sized and the pattern is really pretty. One thing I can’t fault is the extra little touches, the intricate detail and the love inside these boxes, they really do bring something special and unique to the beauty subscription market making it one of a kind.

If you like chic and adorable lifestyle items along with good beauty brands, you will simply fall in love with this box and I can’t recommend it enough! It really does deliver something very magical which is guaranteed to make you smile.
