You Beauty Discovery is a monthly beauty subscription service where you get choose two products of your choice from both well-known and emerging brands and they also throw in 2-3 bonus samples. Each month you’ll find a shortlist that’s been centered around a theme.
1. Roger & Gallet Gingembre Rouge Lait Sorbet (Travel Size 50ml) and Perfume Vial (1.5) Duo
Among my perfumes, Roger & Gallet fragrances share a top spot with some of my favourites so it really was a no brainer this month when I made by shortlist!
The Roger & Gallet Gingembre Rouge is a colourful explosion of fresh ginger complemented by mandarin and pomegranate with notes of ginger flower, lychee and crystallised ginger, which really packs a punch and delicately injects a little sunshine into those wintery days, it’s rather exotic! It’s easy to wear and perfect for days when you want something refreshing and not overly demanding.
2. Argan+ Deep Repair Shampoo & Deep Repair Conditioner Duo – Travel Size 100ml each
I’ve been trying out many different natural hair products over the last few months as I am always curious to see what’s out there and really enjoy trying out new brands so I couldn’t resist this duo from Argan 5+ who harness the goodness of Argan Oil and other botanical ingredients.

My Verdict
With October’s shortlist being one of my favourites this year, it was a tough choice this month but I’m so delighted with my picks and can feel a Roger and Gallet order being placed very soon! There were quite a few duo sets within the shortlist and when you take into account the generous amount of extra’s thrown in and the brands featured, it’s truly unbelievable that this box comes in at only £6.95 a month. The sizes of the products are generous in size giving you ample opportunity to judge whether you like them or not and they make great travel companions too! If you do happen to fall in love with something inside the box, the magazine includes various discount codes for all of the brands featured this month.
You Beauty Discovery is without a doubt one of the best valued beauty box’s on the market which gives you a great opportunity to sample products from well-known, loved and emerging beauty brands. One of the aspects I love about this box is that I have full control of what’s inside as well as receiving some additional bonus samples too. If you’re new to the beauty box concept then this is definitely a great purse friendly box to start off with.
