The *November 2015 Glossybox has landed and it could quite possible be one of their best editions yet! If you’re more of a make up fan then this definitely has your name on it as this month’s box is full of the good stuff by that I mean the majority is make up, but to break it up a little there’s also a winter skincare staple inside the box too. Featuring a collective of well-known brands and new discoveries there’s a total of five products and I’m sure you’ll agree there’s lots to love this month. It’s the perfect excuse to amp up your make up game for the festive period.
Glossybox is a monthly beauty subscription service. The box consists of 4-5 selected hair, make-up , body and nail products from well-known brands and new brands and includes a mixture of full sized and sample products.
1. MUA Eyeshadow Palette – Full Size RRP £4.00
The MUA palettes are famed for their low price point, great colour range and good quality so I was excited to see their Undressed Palette which contains 12 eyeshadows in a range of nude beiges, browns and greys with a mixture of both shimmery and matte finishes.
There’s definitely a good variety of shades and this palette really has lots of room for creativity for achieving anything from an understated and pretty day time look, to a dramatic evening look.
2. Emite Diamond Heart Primer – Travel Size 15ml
I’m always on the lookout for products that can perfect my make up and this all-round talent from Emite provides your skin with a beautiful, healthy glow that gives a smoothing effect. You can use it on its own to achieve glowing skin or as a primer under your foundation or BB Cream.
3. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick – Full Size RRP £7.99
Bold, rich lipstick shades signal the start of the autumn/winter make up trends so it’s a great addition inside this month’s box.
There’s four different variations this month and I received Fire and Ice, a tomato red in a semi matte finish although on others it may look more coral. The formula is creamy, incredibly comfortable to wear and the colour payoff rivals that of high-end lipsticks.
4. Eylure Natural Lashes – RRP £5.00
The addition of the eyelashes won’t be to everyone’s taste this month but these are great for those who want more of subtle look. These lashes give a very natural look and also benefit from being light and comfortable to wear. You’ll definitely be able to get about 2-3 wears out of them which makes them really decent value. If you prefer a bit more vavavoom a sweep of mascara should do the trick.
5. Royal Apothic Cream Crème – Travel Size
Although this seems a little out of place with the theme it’s a very welcomed addition from Royal Apothic.
This body cream deeply hydrates and gently exfoliates in one easy step. Lactic Acid from Milk Proteins provide a mild exfoliation while Olive Oil and Vitamins A and E moisturise and repair for smoother, younger-looking skin.
My Verdict
If you’re a make up fan like me then the November edition definitely has your name on it and I think there’s lots to love this month. Featuring a collective of make-up for all your festive needs it not only includes essentials for everyday but you’ll also be able to pull off an evening ready look effortlessly. The body cream does seem a little out of place but it’s a lovely essential for the winter months. With five products on board ranging from full sized to travel sized, it’s one of my favourite line ups this year.
Glossybox always include a generous amount of full sized products and the total value always beats the actual monthly subscription cost so it’s a great way to discover products from well-known and new brands guilt-free!
