The classic red lip never goes out of style and is of course synonymous with the festive season so it would have been criminal not to feature the ModelCo Lipstick in the shade Smitten from last month’s Birchbox…Say hello to my December Beauty Pick of the Month, the perfect shade of red that’s become my ultimate evening accessory.
Whilst I’ve tried a zillion shades of red, Smitten suits and flatters my complexion perfectly. Described as a deep cranberry red, it’s beautiful, classy, really packs a punch and is such a universal shade that will effortlessly suit all skin tones. Being matte, this boasts a creamy and nourishing formula that feels comfy, doesn’t my leave my lips craving for moisture and wears really well too.
With my Birchbox points soon expiring I’ll definitely be adding the ModelCo Colour Essentials Trio (£15.50) into my basket, a great collection of three party lipsticks including Smitten (always useful to have a back-up!), Kitty and Stiletto.
