As much as I love makeup (and I so do!), I’ve really gotten into skincare in the past few years and have been making a huge effort to try and find (and stick to) a regime that works for me and just when I think I’ve nailed it something else comes along to shake things up! I’m already a huge fan of Caudalie so when I saw this pretty pink tube inside my May Birchbox it was love at first sight!
The Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet (40ml RRP £23.00) promises to calm irritated and stressed skin with a gel-cream formula that has immediate soothing properties and leaves skin refreshed and comfortable. The formula reactivates the skin’s hydration mechanisms and restores its water reserves.
The first thing that captured me was the incredible scent, I’m usually not a fan of scented skincare but the subtle flowery notes really lifts the spirits and isn’t at all sickly or overpowering. In terms of the formula it’s seriously dreamy and really lives up to everything you would associate with a sorbet from its light-weight texture to the amazingly refreshing feeling and while it’s feels weightless it certainly doesn’t compromise on the hydrating front making it the perfect base for make up too.
If you’re oily skinned like me and find that thick creams tend to break you out and feel too heavy, I think you’ll love this and it’s a great choice for the summer months.
