Look what just dropped in!  Another one of my favourite clean, non-toxic beauty boxes – The Natural Beauty Box! As the name suggests not only do they promote natural products but they also focus on cruelty-free and vegan beauty products from UK brands which are very often under the radar and haven’t been featured inside other beauty boxes. Once again, this month’s line-up has been curated to perfection and I really love the idea behind this month’s theme which is ‘Almost Good Enough to Eat’ – have you ever opened a shower gel or a lip balm and thought, damn that smells good enough to eat?

If you’re new to The Natural Beauty Box they promise to deliver 5-6 amazing beauty products tailored around a monthly theme and subscriptions start from £23.00 plus free shipping per month depending on the package you opt for and 50p from each box is also donated to charity.

Without further ramblings from me let’s tuck in and see what products made the cut for their March edition:

Here’s a quick rundown of what was nestled inside their March edition

Up first and a chocoholics dream come true is The Gorgeous Soldier by Skin Alchemists (Full size RRP £34.00) which is infused with plant oils and nutrient rich butters, hand blended with ground coconut shell to exfoliate dead cells and environmental debris. This nourishing balm gently buffs away dry skin restoring optimal hydration and undeniable luminosity. You can also expect to see the likes of Red Alaea sea salt which contains volcanic clay and is known for its high iron content and has over 70 different minerals!

Next we have the beautifully-made Peppermint Foot Balm by Heavenly Organics Skincare (Full size RRP £6.99) which will for sure come in useful to get our feet summer ready plus it also benefits from relieving and nourishing tired achy feet while organic shea and cocoa butter soften the skin.

The sound of the Marzipan Body Souffle by Pink and Green Skincare (Full size RRP £16.00) alone sounds like a true pampering treat and as soon as you open the tub you really can’t help but slather this on! This lightweight whip of plum kernel oil and shea butter is ideal for the spring and summer months and does exactly as promised by absorbing quickly, leaves the skin hydrated and smells just like bakewell tarts!

I can’t say exfoliating my hands is part of my daily beauty routine (it should be as the weather is really drying out my skin) but these Mini Lavender Hand Scrub Cubes by Kokomelt (RRP £3.50) are so, so cute and are perfectly sized for individual use. The dark muscovado sugar scrub cubes are oil based and do not contain soap, allowing your hands to enjoy a full replenishment of all the oils they may need.

Fuelling my love for chocolate even more is the Chocolate & Orange Lip Balm by Aura Organics (Full size RRP £4.00) which is subtly scented with organic sweet orange oil, dark cacao butter and is enriched with the best quality organic plant oils to nourish, soften, protect and heal. The lip balm is also vegan.

With all that teasing thankfully The Natural Beauty Box also included an edible treat to kerb those all cravings in the form of a chocolate bar from Raven Coconut!

My Verdict

I’ve only received a couple of The Natural Beauty Boxes but if I had to choose a favourite this month’s edit wins hands down. After some serious sniffing of these delicious scented products, this edition should have come with a disclaimer along the lines of ‘beware, your taste buds might water!’ I absolutely loved the idea behind the theme this month, it was so fun but most of all I really enjoyed getting to know all the new brands and products which in turn made the unboxing so much more exciting. Packaged with a lot of love and passion as always, the effort that goes into each curation really shines through again for their March box and not one single product felt out of place. Stand outs so far (there’s alot!) include the hand sugar scrub cubes, the body souffle, the body scrub and the lip balm and the addition of the chocolate was also a lovely touch. I can’t fault this month’s box at all, it ticks all the boxes from the theme, the products selected right through to the value.

If you’re looking to expand your love of subscription boxes, you will simply love The Natural Beauty Box.
