If you’re a regular reader, you’ll know that I’ve had a little bit of a love hate relationship with the Look Incredible Deluxe boxes the last couple of months but thankfully their July edition is back to its incredible self and I’m kind of relieved they’ve given us a break from Too Faced as it’s a brand that’s featured repeatedly. Once again and something that really appeals to me about this particular subscription is the fact that they mainly feature make-up from brands we all love and know and occasionally some new finds too. This month you can expect to see full sizes from Tarte, Molton Brown, bareMinerals and Natasha Denona – it’s a good one!
If you’re new to Look Incredible they offer three types of beauty boxes which range from £25 to £65 and aim to deliver lust worthy beauty treats (mainly make-up) from brands we all love and know straight to your door and no spoilers are released so it’s a complete surprise when it arrives.
Here’s what I received inside the July Deluxe edition:
This month’s box felt unusually heavier than normal and you can blame the Molton Brown Body Lotion (Full size RRP £25.00) for that! I’m a big fan of this brand and adore their fragrant body washes so it was lovely to see one of my favourite scents bottled within a lotion! Inspired by traditional Japanese baths, this lotion is infused with an uplifting citrusy fragrance of Bergamot and Patchouli, and promises to deliver a veil of hydrating comfort and leave the body feeling fresh, pampered and invigorated.
I’ve been skipping foundation recently due to the hot weather we’ve been having so the bareMinerals Pure Radiance All-Over Face Colour (Full size RRP £21.00) appears to be a great option in its replacement! This powder gives your skin a beautifully soft dewiness and imparts a luminous glow to make your skin look amazing and feel great.
I don’t really suffer from dry lips in the summer however being a wearer of matte liquid lipsticks I can see the Tarte Lip Facial Lip Scrub (Full size) RRP 15.00) being a handy addition to my make-up bag. This handy crayon exfoliates & treats dry, cracked lips and provides instant hydration, all in one easy-to-use pencil. The 2-in-1 lip scrub sloughs away dead surface cells, allowing moisturizing ingredients to penetrate deeply thanks to micro-fine sugar granules suspended in a conditioning treatment balm.
Last but by no means least we have the Natasha Denona Face Glow Cream Shimmer (Full size RRP £37.00) which is currently stocked by Selfridges and is a completely brand new discovery for me. In case you’re wondering Natasha Denona is an acclaimed makeup artist that’s famous for her signature healthy skin glowy looks. The Face Glow Cream Shimmer is a cream highlighter in a stick form and is a beautiful light gold shade which actually looks very natural meaning you could probably get away with this during the day.
My Verdict
Overall, I was super happy with this month’s Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box.I think their July edit was so much more refreshing in comparison to the last two which of course is down to individual preferences but for me personally I can totally see myself using and enjoying pretty much all the products. I also really liked that they included a couple of newbies that haven’t been featured before and products from brands I haven’t explored much of so it’s a good mix plus you also get to try some really popular brands without breaking the bank!
