I can’t believe we’ll soon be saying goodbye to summer and what a fantastic summer it’s been with the exception of the last week or so (I was one of those people of who wished for rain and kinda regretting it now)! On a brighter note and the last of the summer themed Pink Parcel’s, is their Holiday Essentials Edit and it’s definitely my favourite curation from this year so far. Not only does it feature a travel sized perfume from one of my favourite brands but there’s a pack of Candy Kittens too, a very good sized pack at that and COFFEE! There’s lots of love this month and I really like the emphasis on multi-taskers not forgetting all those key time of the month essentials to ensure you absolutely covered.

If you’re new to Pink Parcel it’s a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbencies, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

Without further ado here’s what you can expect to see inside this month’s Pink Parcel:

First out of the box and a firm favourite of mine is the English Laundry No7 For Her Purse Spray (10ml) which is a very generous size as the 50ml retails for £60.00! I’m absolutely obsessed with this brands perfume library and this scent in particular was what started my obsession in the first place so I’m delighted to have this handy travel size. Described as a floral fruity fragrance for women, it contains top notes of pear, jasmine, melon and apricot. Middle notes are gardenia, jasmine and almond. Base notes are sandalwood, vanilla, whipped cream and musk. It’s a really lovely easy to wear spring/summer scent but you’ll get away with wearing it all year round!

Keeping to the multi-tasking theme, we have the Laritzy Dew Pot in Utopia (Full size RRP £20.00) which comes in a beautiful rose gold shade – it’s so pretty. Loaded with ultrafine shimmer, this smooth, blendable highlighter promises to keep you dewy all day and is designed to enhance all skin tones. You simply apply a little for a subtle sheen finish or build it up for a killer glow.

Up next we have another multi-purpose wonder in the form of the Oryza Dewy Glow Beauty Balm (full size RRP £11.95), an all-purpose skin and lip balm that’s super moisturizing and soothing on dry skin plus it contains UVA and UVB filters to protect skin from harmful rays. The formula is thick and contains rice bran oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, vitamin E, and sunflower oil for maximum hydration! I’m a little hesitant using this on my face as I don’t want to risk any breakouts so I’ll probably use this as a hand cream/ lip balm at bedtime.

Oily skin and breakouts – yep that pretty much sums up my skin a week before that monthly visitor and one of the aspects that I love about Pink Parcel is they occasionally feature products to target these common concerns so I was really pleased to see a sample of the Sebamed Clear Face Mattifying Cream (10ml). The cream reduces the skin’s oily shine and the formation of pimples, blackheads and skin impurities with a pH value of 5.5. The special care complex, helps to reduce sebum production in oily areas, whilst also helping to reduce irritation by soothing and moisturising the skin.

Pink Parcel sure know how to pamper us and last but not least from the beauty line-up is the Spacemask Self-Heating Eye Mask (RRP £15.00 for a box of 5) which I swear by and have a nice little stash on standby residing in my bedside drawer! This genius invention warms and alleviates strain on your eyes which in turn aids in calming you down and relaxing your mind from long days of work, excessive screen staring, stress and headaches. The mask gently heats up and lasts around 15 minutes and definitely helps me to relax and drift off into sleep!

Tea and Sweet Treats – 2 items

As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see a sample of tea and foodie treats – the perfect mix to kerb those cravings and as always they sure do hit the spot but always disappear so quickly!

Inside this month’s curation you can expect to see a pack of Candy Kittens Eton Mess Gourmet Sweets (RRP £1.00) and for all you coffee drinkers we finally have a sample from Lyons in the form of their Rich & Full Bodied Coffee Bag (RRP £2.60 for a box of 18).

My Verdict

Pink Parcel certainly saved their best summer edit till last! This month’s line-up had it all and was certainly more appealing than recent months. I particularly liked the variety, all the new discoveries and of course seeing one of my favourite fragrances in a travel friendly size and the coffee sample was a lovely bonus too. Note to self: Do not leave Candy Kittens unsupervised – my husband ate the majority of them and then blamed the cat (rolls eyes)!

Priced at £12.99 a month, Pink Parcel is without a doubt incredible value and I personally love the convenience of getting all my monthly essentials sent straight to my door which in turn really takes the hassle out not to mention it does a great job lifting up the mood with all the extra’s inside!
