I think Pink Parcel are finally all sorted in terms of their delivery teething problems (yay!) as my November box arrived at a speedy rate! As we lead up to party season, this month’s edit is themed after-dark essentials and promises to take you from day to night with some skin care and make-up picks in addition to all your period essentials in the form of pads and tampons for both day and night (dependant on your preferences) and a ‘For Now’ pouch which you can slip into your handbag straightaway.

If you’re new to Pink Parcel it’s a subscription service for your monthly cycle who send you what you need, right when you need it as well as some lovely treats to brighten up those days of the month. With three dispatch dates to choose from, Pink Parcel literally take care of everything and will ship your box before your period is due. If you’re worried about flows and absorbencies, they have that covered too as you can choose your preferred brand as well as the type of sanitary items to suit your flow making it completely bespoke to your needs.

Without further ado here’s what you can expect to see inside this month’s Pink Parcel:

Up first and something that’s definitely going to come in handy is the Balance Me Congested Skin Serum (sample size) – great for those emergency situations when you can feel a spot trying to surface! Fortified with Spruce Knot and Kanuka Essential Oil that provides anti-microbial properties to diminish blemish-causing bacteria, whilst a calming blend of Roman Chamomile, Lavender and Eucalyptus restore long-lasting comfort. The formula is really light weight and gentle from what I can remember but as for diminishing spots, it’s not the quickest!

Breaking the rules in terms of applying make-up after a facial or face mask, we have the Skin Republic X Olivia Buckland Prep + Glow Sheet Mask (x1 RRP £5.49), a new launch that has been designed by Love Island’s Olivia Buckland to prep skin before make-up application and achieve a flawless finish with coverage that lasts longer. This cruelty-free sheet mask is enriched with hyaluronic acid, collagen and pomegranate to hydrate, plump and brighten skin. Use it before a night out and leave it on for 15-20 minutes before applying make-up.

Sticking to skin care and another new discovery is the Skin & Co Roma Truffle Therapy Whipped Cleansing Cream (Travel size 30ml), an ultra rich hydrating cleanser that’s tones, hydrates and works to improve skin resilience, it’s formulated with pure truffle extract and sweet almond oil along with other skin nourishing ingredients.

Next out of the box is the Loella Cosmetics Fab Brow Brooke Brush (Full size RRP £4.99), a vegan and cruelty-free angled brush made with super-soft taklon bristles to shape, define and fill. The brush works with both powder and cream formulas however it didn’t give me that precision due to the thickness, it is pretty though!

I love trying out new eyeliners and although the Technic Eyeliner (Full size RRP £1.99) isn’t something I would have personally purchased I like that it includes both a sharpener and a smudger. On the flip side, the eyeliner pigment isn’t the greatest.

Tea and Sweet Treats – 2 items

As well as the beauty line up you can also expect to see a sample of tea and foodie treats – the perfect mix to kerb those cravings and as always they sure do hit the spot but always disappear so quickly!

Inside this month’s curation there’s a Montezuma Milk Chocolate Minted Bar and a Dr Stuart’s Skin Purify Tea sample.

My Verdict

This month’s Pink Parcel featured mainly new discoveries for me which is always welcomed but apart from the mask and the chocolate, I don’t think there was anything else that particularly stood out for me. I was most excited for the brow brush but unfortunately I’m so use to a super thin brush that this was noticeably way too thick and did not give me that defined finish. There’s no spoilers as of yet for December but fingers crossed it’s a good one – they usually are to be fair!
