My SoukSouk Little Green Beauty Box has arrived and I was looking forward to seeing what this month had in store judging by last month my expectations were high! As soon as I opened the box I could smell the lovely aroma and again I was not disappointed.

“SoukSouk” are a green beauty box company with a mission to help their customers to greenify their beauty regimes, one beauty box at a time! They have various subscription packages and also do a bespoke beauty box and a limited edition box. They really do have something for everyone’s likes and needs. The Box also includes a magazine which has lots of useful articles and facts.

“Scouting out the best, the new, the small and the niche in natural and organic beauty”

The box included 4 good sized  travel samples and 1 full sized product. The box mainly consisted of  Skincare, Body and beauty products this month. A nice variety of products which were all new to me as in the brands.

1.    Mistral Verbena Petit French Soap – Travel Size 50g RRP £3.50

This is certainly not a brand I have heard of however the packaging and the scent stood out for me straight away. As soon as I opened the box It was like I had opened up a box full of fresh cut limes.

The packaging was very french and chic.

This invigorating clean fragrance soap, with hints of mint, lime, marjoram and flowering jasmine, evokes the fresh radiance of summer. Verbena is one of the most energizing scents for a morning wake up.  This is:

  • Pure Organic Shea Butter.
  • Gentle and moisturizing for dry, sensitive skin.
  • French milled soap for long lasting use.
  • All vegetable French soap.

I used this in the shower and unlike many soaps this did not dry out my skin. My bathroom smelt good too!

2.    Mistral Verbena Extra Rich Body Lotion –  Travel Size 60ml RRP £4.75

Another product from the same brand above and this smells just as amazing and felt quite luxurious.

Inspired by the fragrant wind of Provence, this body lotion is formulated with organic shea butter and natural olive oil for a complete moisturising experience.

This applied well and was not greasy at all in fact it was really nice and the scent lasted for a long time. This is quite an invigorating lotion – a perfect pick me up for the mornings.

3.    SpaRitual Nail Polish – Full Size 15ml  RRP £9.75

A completely new brand for me.

Dedicated to the spa tradition, SpaRitual is committed to creating eco-friendly products and packaging perfectly crafted for the enlightened consumer. They use Vegan ingredients from around the world, including many specially sourced and selected plant essences that are wild crafted OR organic. The formulations are naturally coloured and free of synthetic dyes. No nasties which is great.

This is a lovely summer colour and not a colour that I have currently have in my collection. Happy not to have received a pink or a red polish as I have far too many of these.

4.     SpaRitual Hand Serum- Sample Size 7.4ml RRP £2.00

This hand serum is formulated with Swiss Apple stem cells to deeply penetrate and regenerate skin cells, promoting healthy, youthful skin. It delivers a high concentration of plant actives to renew and restore the hands back to their youthful radiance. Handprint Hand Serum is made with 72% Certified Organic ingredients.

This is a nice hand serum if you are looking for something luxurious as it feels great on the skin. Not too keen on the scent but I can live with that!

5.  Essential Care Organic Avocado Replenishing Cream– Sample Size 15ml  RRP £6.60

This is a sumptuous, organic aromatherapeutic night or rich day cream with nature’s finest contribution to smoothing out lines and promotes skin regeneration. leaving your skin moisturised. This is suitable for Vegans and is Soil Association Certified.

Unfortunately this is for Dry skin and therefore I will not be trying this however I’m sure someone I know will love to try this so nothing lost.

My Verdict

Another great box from SoukSouk and I am very happy and content with the products provided this month. I thoroughly enjoyed reviewing all of the products but most of all I enjoyed discovering these new brands. Their magazine was also a good read and very informative as per usual. Lemon’s have lots of other uses other than eating them – Thank you SoukSouk for the fact sheet!

This is slightly more expensive than the other  boxes (only by another pound or so) but it is totally worth spending the extra. The quality and selection of the products are great also.

Overall, this is a great box this month and if you want to discover natural and organic brands this is the box for you.
The contents within this month’s box is worth  £18.75 not a significant value however the great products definitely make up for this.

I am already looking forward to receiving next month’s box.
