The May Love Lula Beauty Box has landed and this month see’s another refreshing and rejuvenating line up to achieve healthy summer skin head to toe. The box features an impressive line up with great brands on board and mainly showcases skin and body care products alongside a lifestyle extra in the form of a tea sample which is something I’ve not seen featured before in the Love Lula box so welcome this new addition. I have a huge stockpile of soaps to get through at the moment but John Masters Organics is one brand that I can’t get enough of so this will certainly be going on the top of pile as it’s beautiful orange scent just screams all things summer!
This refreshing & rejuvenating body bar contains organic orange and lime peels to gently exfoliate while ginseng root stimulates & revitalizes the skin. It contains exhilarating essential oil of orange blended with organic palm and coconut oils creating an invigorating lather with high glycerin content, leaving your skin is left clean, soft and smooth.
The scent really promotes freshness and vitality, it’s perfect for the summer months.
2. Salcura Skin Repair Moisturiser – Full Size 50ml. RRP £9.99
The Salcura Zeoderm Skin Repair Moisturiser is quickly absorbed, non sticky and penetrates the damaged skin deep down for maximum moisturisation. One of the main active ingredients in Zeoderm are natural minerals in a nano form. The patented ZeomaZ ingredient features Tribo-Mechanically Activated Zeolites. ZeomaZ has been classified as a Medical Product Class 1 for skin and wound care.
Having received a Salcura product previously I was quite happy to see another. It’s one of those products that’s great for storing in the medicine drawer due to it’s soothing and repairing formula and targets conditions such as dermatatis, itchy skin as well as dry skin. It’s the perfect travel companion too and comes in a handy 50ml tube.
3. Figs & Rouge Rambling Rose Balm – Full Size 17ml RRP £5.00
Adorned with beautiful vintage artwork, this tin is undeniably beautiful and inside is the most enticing rose scented balm I’ve ever come across.
Figs & Rouge Rambling Rose Balm is 100% organic and Soil Association certified. Made from natural botanical ingredients and packaged in a beautifully decorative Art Nouveau tin, this vintage inspired balm can be used on lips, face and body for an intensive moisture boost.
The balm itself smells really soft and isn’t overpowering at all, I’m quite content to just sniff it! It’s a great essential for the handbag and it’s robust tin will ensure it remains intact in even the messiest and fully brimmed handbags.
4. REN V-Cense Youth Vitality Day Cream – Sample Size 15ml.
REN is a brand that I really adore having tried a few of their products but for me personally this day cream doesn’t excite me unlike the rest of their products I’ve tried mainly because I’m not quite there with the anti-ageing products!
This multi-active day moisturiser prevents and minimizes the signs of premature ageing. Its complex of actives intensely hydrates, protects against free radical damage and smoothes fine lines and wrinkles whilst boosting skin energy and elasticity.
5. TEATOX Skinny Detox Morning Team – Sample Size
I’ve been subscribing to Love Lula for over a year now and this month sees the first debut of a lifestyle product in the form of Good Morning Skinny Detox Tea from TEATOX.

One of the aspects I really like about Love Lula is that they always include a good variety of products from both well-known and emerging brands so they’ll always be something new to try, and as their concept is focused, you won’t find the majority of these products within any of the other beauty boxes. Whilst I love the new discoveries month on month I feel that the boxes are very much focused around skin and body care and would really love to see some make up or even some nail varnish just to mix things up a little so it’s more balanced.
