It’s a new month which means new beauty treats and trends within the ever evolving Love Me Beauty Boutique and July showcases a great selection of new arrivals from Nuxe, Mirabella, Bare Minerals, Neal & Wolf alongside a couple of items from Love Me Beauty’s own collection. This post rounds up some of the lovely new additions which you can expect to see inside this month’s boutique. There’s a good balance of beauty this month so whether you love make-up, skin and body care products as well as beauty tools there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Each month the Love Me Beauty monthly subscription is worth 6 credits and you simply chose the items you want inside your box from a selection of products ranging from hair, body, nails, skincare and make-up with majority of the items being either 1 or 2 credits.

1. Nuxe Paris

Nuxe pops up quite frequently in beauty boxes, namely their face mask and dry oil so it’s great to see a wider collection of their products featured within this month’s boutique. Here are a couple of the products available from the selection:

The Nuxe Gentle Toning Lotion (Full Size 200ml, 2 credits. RRP £12.00) is formulated with rose petals and is designed to remove make up whilst also promoting smooth and perfectly clear skin. It’s enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and Witch Hazel Water, to soothe and hydrate the skin whilst Damascena Rose Petal Water softens the skin and also boasts being alcohol and paraben free.

Formulated with both rose petals and witch hazel would normally make me a fan but with it leaning more towards normal and dry skin types I’m a little reluctant to try this on my skin but nonetheless it smells rather amazing – boo to oily skin!

Next up is the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Multi-purpose Dry Oil (Sample Size 10ml 1 credit), a luxurious multi-purpose dry oil made from six precious plant oils (Macadamia, Hazelnut, Borrage, Almond, Camellia and St. John’s Wort). Whether you’re looking for deep down hydration, a refreshing summer scent or a little of both this is great for that and won’t leave your skin feeling oily, it’s a summer must-have.

2. Bellapierre Cosmetics Shimmer Powders – (2 credits each) Full Size 2g RRP £12.99

I’m not usually a fan of loose powders mainly because I’m clumsy and have had a few carpet accidents but I love the shimmer powders from Bellepierre, they have wonderful pigmentation, blend really easily with little fallout and are an ultimate all-in-one mineral make up product that you can mix with lip balm, clear nail polish, and with a drop of water it even becomes an eyeshadow and an eyeliner.

From the selection I received Champagne, a beautiful soft gold with fine shimmer particles and Whesek, a gorgeous smokey silver perfect for dressing up the eyes.

As an eyeshadow these adhere to the skin well on their own, but of course a primer improves the colour payoff and intensity.

3. Neal & Wolf Super Shine Spray – (2 credits) Full Size 100ml RRP £12.50

I’ve not tried anything from the Neal & Wolf collection so welcomed the introduction in the form of their Super Shine Spray. Neal & Wolf are a professional hair care brand with a range of products designed to meet all of your hair care needs, even the scent of the products have been specially developed in a perfume house to leave your hair smelling amazing!

From the collection I received the Super Shine Spray which not only adds lustre, but also smoothes the hair, controls the frizz and reduces static – how annoying is it when your hair stands on end after straightening?!

Having hard to manage and troublesome hair I’m willing to give anything a go to get my hair to behave and this sounds perfect.

4. Mirabella Velvet Lip Pencil in “Love” – 2 credits Full Size RRP £15.00

I’ve really loved what I’ve tried so far from Mirabella so couldn’t wait to swipe this on my lips and it just so happens to be a matte finish which has got me even more excited!

The shade “Love” looks like a classic red but once applied it’s more orange toned and unfortunately these type of shades just don’t suit me however if you’ve got a tan or olive skin toned you’ll definitely be able to pull this off.

The creamy and velvety formula grabbed my attention immediately, it’s infused with vitamins C and E which help to nourish and moisturise the lips whilst the Berryflux Vita Active, an extract of raspberry stem cells acts as a great anti-oxidant to preserve the skin’s elasticity. When combined together your left with a moisturising lip crayon that doesn’t dry your lips. The pencil glides on like a dream and leaves your lips feeling as if you were wearing nothing at all. My only complaint is they’re not a twist-up or retractable, so you’ll need to sharpen these. If you want a pop of pretty color with a satin matte finish this pencil is incredible and I will definitely be looking into their other shades.

5. Love Me Beauty Collection – 1 credit each

As well as the beauty products Love Me Beauty have created a collection of their own branded beauty tools such as a emery board and tweezers which are available in both black and white.

My Verdict

This month’s boutique showcases another great line up of top-to-toe treats from an array of established brands alongside a few new discoveries with something for every beauty enthusiast. Whether you love makeup, skincare hair products, beauty tools or a little bit of everything Love Me Beauty has all areas covered this month. They’ve also added six lipsticks from Shien Cosmetics, not a brand I’ve heard of but the shades looks pretty amazing and wearable.
