December is such an exciting month but throw beauty boxes into the equation too and you’ll find that there bursting with festive treats and tend to be that little more exciting. Cohorted have of course followed suit and this month they’ve collaborated with the lovely Michelle from TSNC Blog and the line-up…well it’s nothing short of fabulous and for me personally it definitely captures what Cohorted do best. Containing some seriously lust-worthy products from established brands that we all love and know, December just got that little more exciting!
With four full size products and one sample, the December edition features a mixture of make-up and a sample of fragrance and showcases the brands MAC, Nars, Marc Jacobs and Too Faced, all of which are beautifully presented inside their signature black box secured with an organza ribbon giving it a very luxurious look and feel.
1. Too Faced Soul Mates Blush Bronzer – Full Size RRP £28.00
If there was ever a perfect make up duo it’s this blush bronzer from Too Faced and you can bet I’m so smitten with it!
The Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer is a bronzer and blush duo and it’s been cleverly named after the most popular couple on TV, Ross and Rachel from Friends!
Everything about this just shouts cuteness, the outer packaging is really pretty and reminds me of a Polly Pocket and inside, you’re greeted with nothing but hearts!
Giving a beautiful sheen, tons of pigment with a buttery and luxurious formula, the bronzer is great for contouring, and the blush adds an instant glow to the cheeks. Mixing both of the colours together really warms up the complexion so it’s ideal choice for this time of the year to cheat your way to sun-kissed skin!
2. Nars Pure Sheer SPF Treatment – Full Size RRP £19.99
The NARS Pure Sheer SPF Lip Treatment is luxurious multi-tasker that really knows how to treat lips right! From the two shades available I received Lara, a pretty pink that goes on sheer but gives a lovely natural wash of colour. Chock full of beneficial ingredients such as wild mango butter, vitamin E, polar berries, acai oil and SPF 15 this promises to hydrate and protect too.
3. Nars Flat Concealer Brush – RRP £20.50
I love receiving beauty tools so very much welcome this nylon brush by Nars that smooths concealer on wide areas and hard-to-reach places for naturally flawless skin.
4. MAC Satin Lipstick in Rebel – Full Size RRP £15.50
‘Rebel’ is a shade that I probably never would have chosen myself but it’s a pretty wine/berry shade that’s so fitting for this time of the year and really isn’t that intimidating once applied!
As with all the Mac Satin lipsticks this also boasts the same properties and has a creamy smooth texture that effortlessly glides onto the lips.
5. Dot Marc Jacobs Eau de Parfum – Sample Vial 1.2ml
Last but not least is sample vial of Marc Jacobs Dot Eau De Parfum, a blast of juicy fruit notes and a subtle hint of coconut water makes this such a cheerful and youthful scent.
My Verdict
Known for their glamorous and lust worthy beauty boxes which incorporate a selection of essential and luxury products, the December edition certainly is no exception and in collaboration with the lovely beauty blogger Michelle, they have indeed pulled out all the stops to bring us some of the best of what high-end beauty has to offer. I’m so impressed with the line-up and the brands featured this month, it’s the perfect curation to end the year and also makes such a lovely pre-Christmas treat! As always the value is incredible so it’s definitely worth the £35.00 price tag.
If you lust over premium and high end brands or simply want a guilt-free treat each month the Cohorted Beauty Box really is great for that.
