I think Roccabox are taking a little break collaborating with bloggers so instead they’ve joined forces with Coconut Lane with an aptly timed edition that’s centred around around festival season and I can’t believe how quickly that’s come round – I’ve got a feeling summers going to whizz by! Their May edition feels very summery and includes some really handy additions so if you’re off to any festivals, lucky enough to have a weekend getaway or having a staycation I think there’s something for almost everyone this month plus I love that they’ve mixed it up a bit by including a couple of lifestyle treats both of which involve flamingos. Not too sure about the addition of the glitter (showing my age here!) but I’m sure one of my sisters will take this off my hands!

Here’s what they featured inside their May edition:

Up first and the only product that I disliked from the line-up this month was the pot of Eco Glitter Fun! I completely get why this made the cut but for someone in their late 30’s, this just isn’t something I can see myself using! Nonetheless, Eco Glitter fun was born from two festival loving party animals, whose mission is to bring responsible sparkles and plastic pollution awareness to the world. Their biodegradable glitter is made from a certified biodegradable cellulose film. This means that once it has been used to make the world a more glittery place, it will safely biodegrade, causing no harm to Mother Earth. The glitter can be used on the face and body.

To beat the heat we have a mini deodorant spray from Deovert (Sample size), a brand I’ve never come across before but they provide 100% pure and natural premium grade products containing essentials oil and have recently also launched a home fragrance collection too! This long-lasting body deodorant cleverly counteracts the smell of sweat without altering the body’s natural sweat process. It contains cedar, lemon, lemongrass, orange, grapefruit, pine and rosemary.

Next up and a brand new product launch from St Tropez is their tropical scented Purity Bronzing Water Mousse (Travel size 50ml), a clear and lightweight foam that instantly absorbs into the skin leaving a light gleam for an instant glow and develops streak-free and lasts for days. I really like the sound of this and hope this does apply easily as I’m useless when it comes to tanning.

Another fitting product out of the box is the Merci Handy Hand Cleansing Gel in the scent Lollipop (Full size RRP £2.90). It’s not a glamorous addition but I actually love their gels – they are so much nicer than the others on the market and smell so, so good!

Moving onto make-up is the Nikopro Pro Blender (RRP £6.00) which promises to create a studio professional looking complexion with immaculate coverage and a flawless finish.

Last out of the box and a lovely finishing touch to this month’s collaboration is two lifestyle products in the form of a Roccabox x Coconut Lane Bag (RRP £10.00) and an adorable Flamingo pin (RRP £6.00).

My Verdict

Covering all bases on those festival must-haves and absolutely nailing those summer vibes, this was such a fantastic collaboration from Roccabox and it’s also one their best valued line-ups yet so it’s definitely worth picking up just for the lifestyle items alone which total up to £16.00! Although the box was targeted for festival goers, the items are actually suitable for any occasion and apart from the glitter I don’t think there’s anything that I won’t be able to get use of out. It was also a change to see some lifestyle treats on board and another bonus is this month’s edit features seven products as opposed to the usual five! Did I mention they’ve also given all their subscribers an exclusive 40% off everything at Coconut Lane!
