The April “You Beauty Discovery” Box has arrived. The theme this month is “Organic and Natural”.
“You Beauty Discovery” is a monthly beauty subscription service. The box consists of 4-5 selected hair, make-up and beauty products from well-known brands and new brands. Unlike the other subscription boxes you get to choose two products of your choice from a good selection menu. You do need to be quick as items do become out of stock.
This month’s box included 3 full sized products and 1 sample product. The box consisted of Beauty products, and a fruity bar sample this month.
1. Clay Spray (Brightening White Clay with Ginseng Masque) – Full Size 30ml RRP £15.00
I was so excited to see this in the selection menu as this is the first time I have seen a face mask in a spray formula. It’s no wonder why these sold out so quickly on the website!
ClaySpray is the first clay emulsion to come in a spray can which not only helps keep the clay fresh but pure also.
There were two different types available in the selection and I chose the Brightening one. I am now kicking myself as I wish I chose the other one also!
The founder of Clay Spray is Marian an Archaeologist by training. “Clay is intimately bond to the excavation deposits, where Archaeologists patiently scrapes away layer by layer from the most recent traces human settlements through the oldest until a virgin stratum is reached that no human has ever had contact with. This product exfoliates and renews. Removes dead skin cells, revealing a fresh new skin surface with energising ginseng to brighten, for an immediate replenished healthy look and 95% of its ingredients are natural.
This mask is perfect for tired and dull skin (ideal for me as the pressures of work and late nights play a toll on my skin) This is for combination and normal skin types.
I definitely didn’t waste any time to try this product. I tried this before I went into the Shower this morning. I initially thought this could be sprayed straight onto the face however this certainly was not the case! As per the instructions I sprayed this into the palm of my hand. The spray releases a lot of product really fast so you do have to be really careful otherwise it could be quite disastrous with clay everywhere! I applied and left it on for about 20 minutes and it dried firm.
I rinsed in the shower, and magically I acquired radiant looking skin! My pores looked more refined and my skin did look noticeably better. I am so impressed with this product it really is a hidden secret amongst the Beauty market and only wished I came across this earlier. I will definitely be adding this to my wishlist!
2. Dr Organic Eye Rescue Rollerball – Full Size 15ml. RRP £8.99

I tried this before I went to sleep last night. It was easy to apply and didn’t drag the skin. The puffiness did appear less noticeable and did feel very refreshing under the eye. This is a good product for the mornings when your half asleep!
3. 9 Bar Fruity – Full Size RRP £0.69p

Unfortunately I haven’t tried this yet however it sounds great and good for times when you’re on the go and need a quick boost of energy!
4. The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Face Cream – Sample Size. Full Size 50ml RRP £39.95
This is “A powerful anti-ageing light cream that is rich in herbal extracts and cosmeceuticals. Lifts and minimises pores,mops-up free radicals and reduces wrinkles”
I’ve not tried this yet but there are some positive reviews about this product on the internet.
My Verdict
I am very happy with my You Beauty Discovery Box this month. Great brands and a good selection of products but most of all I have been introduced to the ClaySpray.
This month’s box contained 3 full sized products and 1 sample. The box contained products from brands which I have never come across before . The products included a range of Beauty and a fruity bar sample.
The contents within this month’s box is worth around £25 more than the price of the box itself!
“You Beauty Discovery” impresses me every month. Their wide selection of products in their menu has something for everyone’s needs and likes. This box is a complete steal for £6.95 and worth every penny.
