It’s a new month which means new beauty treats and trends within the Love Me Beauty Boutique and it’s definitely one of my favourites as June see’s a great selection of new arrivals from Nails Inc, Elemis, alongside Realine Beauty which is a new discovery for me. As well as the beauty products, this month’s box also included an additional treat in the form of a really good sized canvas make up bag, perfect for those summer holidays coming up.
Each month the Love Me Beauty monthly subscription is worth 6 credits and you simply chose the items you want inside your box from a selection of products ranging from hair, body, nails, skincare and make-up with majority of the items being either 1 or 2 credits.
1. Elemis British Botanical Shower Cream – (2 credits) Travel Size 50ml, RRP £6.90
Elemis isn’t a brand I’ve had much experience with so it was great to see a selection of their products showcased within this month’s boutique. This brand hails from London and harnesses the power of nature and science to create ground-breaking formulations to genuinely transform your skin and leans towards the luxurious end of beauty.
The British Botanical Shower Cream sits within Elemis’ soothing range and aims to nourish the body and de-stress the mind. It’s blended with carefully selected British grown botanicals, organic oats and essential oils of Lavender, Chamomile, Geranium and Palmarosa. The aromatic fragrance is quite potent and has a very spa-like scent which really encourages you to relax making it perfect for the evenings when you want to unwind and free that busy mind. It pleasantly lasts on the skin too.
2. Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream Ultra Rich – (2 credit) Travel Size 15ml RRP £28.00
The Pro-Collagen range is one of Elemis’ most extensive range and whilst the full sized cream is an eye watering £80.00 for 50ml this travel version retails for £28!
This is Elemis’ most popular product and is clinically proven to reduce the depth of wrinkles, improve skin firmness, tone and hydration in 15 days. The rich texture makes this too heavy for my oily skin but for those for have dry skin will love this especially during the winter.
3. Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm – (2 credits) Travel Size 15ml RRP £12.10
When something claims to illuminate in a flash I’m interested straightaway and this balm claims to instantly brighten the complexion, exude health and vitality to reveal a smooth, even complexion and dewy luminosity. I can’t wait to give this a go and on first impressions it appears to be a fairly light moisturiser which is ideal for this time of the year.
4. Nails Inc Gel Effect Polish – (2 credit each) Full Size RRP £15.00
If you’re a nail addict you’re going to love the wide array of summery Nails Inc shades on offer this month and for only 2 credits each it’s an incredible bargain especially when you take into account how much these retail for individually.
Inside my box is two beautiful shades from the Nails Inc Gel Effect collection. St James is a lovely cherry red whilst Soho Place is a gorgeous aqua shade.
These gel effect polishes are so super-shiny that you won’t even require a top coat. If you’re a fan of the brand or want to achieve a gel-like finish in the comfort of your own home you can grab three shades with your six credits!
5. Realine Frown Line Patches – (1 credit each) Full Size RRP £28.00
With more and more people becoming more conscience of frown lines, Realine beauty have created the ultimate, hypoallergenic frown line patch. Made from tape tried and tested in the medical world it steers away from needles and simply works while you sleep. There’s 30 generous patches inside the box and with the patch being transparent it’s completely invisible once applied to the skin. This isn’t an area I’m particularly concerned about the moment but nonetheless it’s got me very intrigued!
My Verdict
This month’s boutique showcases a great line up of top-to-toe treats from an array of established brands alongside a few new discoveries with something for every beauty enthusiast. Whether you love makeup, skincare or nails Love Me Beauty has all areas covered this month, it’s definitely one not to be missed and boasts great value for a box that’s only £13.95. I loved the extra treat in the form of the make up bag but due to popular demand it’s now out of stock. Some of the Nails Inc polishes have also sold out so you’ll have to be quick to grab the remaining shades.
